Do you ever feel like the weight of the world’s expectations of you are pulling you down? Do you have a hard time saying “no” to others? Do you often find yourself dwelling on your faults instead of giving yourself grace?

Despite what other people may demand of you, it actually is possible to set realistic expectations for yourself and to rest in those. My friend Amy Carroll, author of Exhale,  joins me on the show to talk about what it means to “lose who you aren’t, love who you are, and live your one life well.” We all need to learn, at some level, to prioritize our daily lives and walk in God’s plan for us. This often requires giving ourselves a well-deserved break. A little grace never hurt nobody!

Amy and I chat about our need to please others and our perfectionistic mentalities. I’m sure many of you can relate! So join us as we dive headfirst into discussing our insecurities and flaws and how, exactly, we identify and use the gifts that God has given us. You can learn to not only embrace who you are but allow yourself to actually say “no” to the expectations of others that are not yours to carry.

Amy’s goal is for us to break up with perfect. God has something so much better for us than feeling disqualified. Once we release that spiritual clutter, we learn that there is no such thing as perfect, and we can finally embrace who He intended us to be.

I am so excited for y’all to listen. This is definitely one you aren’t going to want to miss!
