So you feel like you’ve been walking a long time huh?
I sense your frustration.
I can tell that you are looking ahead as you gaze down the road,
And you see more of the same.
…The same difficulties.
…The same problems.
…The same routine.
I sense that you want to know where exactly you are headed,
And how long it’s going to take to arrive.
I understand that.
But keep walking.
Follow Me.
There are lots of roads.
I’m very proud of you for choosing the narrow road to which I’ve led you when you could have chosen that broad one.
But know that I also see you walking My road while straining your neck to see what’s happening on the road across the way.
I sense that you wonder.
But let me assure you…
Their road is not for you.
Some of the roads you are curious about lead straight to
…unhappiness
…unfulfillment
…and heartache
You can’t see it but I do.
Other roads that intrigue you seem wonderful from your vantage point, but I can tell you that if you look closer, you will see the potholes.
I sense that you have questions.
… is it worth it?
… what’s the point?
… why am I here?
I have an answer.
Follow Me.
That’s how I work.
My job is to show you to the road.
Your job is follow Me there and then… walk.
Follow Me.
Every now and then I’ll give you a road sign to let you know that you are on the right path.
In the absence of new directions, just keep heading in the direction I gave you last.
The longer you walk with Me, the more sure you will be that My directions make perfect sense.
But you won’t learn that I know where I’m going unless you experience that truth.
So follow Me.
You won’t be disappointed.

Notes from my Morning Meeting with Jesus – June 17th
Thank you so much for sharing your morning meeting…..it seems that I had a similar conversation with Jesus last night. It’s hard sometimes as you keeping asking “When God…..?” But, I hear God saying “It’s not time. Chill out…and trust me.”
Love your morning meetings. They are amazing. Trying to.have some morning moments with God of my own. Thank you for sharing yours.
Thanks so much for this. I needed to hear every single word of that. I am the only Christian on my job and it’s tough. You can imagine the ‘soap opera drama’ that unfolds as they all resight their daily lives to each other every morning. The dysfunction I hear is sometimes unbearable but I’ve felt God wants me to stay the course and not leave the job but I’ve felt very much like you’ve described in the first paragraph. I’ve printed this to take to work with me tomorrow so I can read it throughout the day as a reminder that God has it under control just keep walking in the same direction until he charts another course. Thank you Chrystal for the reminder 🙂
This is another “printable”!
My desk is in the center of traffic at my work. When God speaks a Word like this, I print it and lay it inconspicuously on my desk. Everyone has an opportunity to see what is lying around and some have a habit of looking. This is another one of the jewels that can be found there.
Thank you so much for sharing!
You are welcome 🙂
This was excellent! Keep allowing God to use you as a teacher and encourager to the Body of Christ!
I had to read this today…it truly blessed me.
[…] God made it very clear what he wanted the Israelites to do. They just never got around to doing it. […]
