As you walk through life, you will meet people who will leave a long-lasting impact on you. There will be people who can say something that will prick your heart and change your life. Today’s guest is one of the people who has marked my life, and I am so grateful to glean from and share this well of wisdom. Dr.Gloria Morrow, a licensed clinical psychologist, speaker, author, playwright, and more, has jumped into The Sister Circle to pour into us. She was a friend of my mother’s, and I feel honored to be able to speak with her.

As we go through life, sometimes we can feel like our detours have prevented us from achieving our goals. We can fall into thinking that says, “Because I didn’t do it then, I cannot do it now.” Well, Dr. Gloria embodies the message that it is never too late! After becoming a mother at 17, she prioritized her motherhood over her education. However, in her 40s, Dr. Gloria returned to school to earn her Master’s degree, and at 50, she earned her Ph.D. Currently, as a woman in her 70s, when she recognized that she needed more information to achieve her most recent endeavor, she enrolled in a certificate course to further her education. Her life’s message can be summed up in two words, “Keep Living.”

Aside from digging into the richness of her story of beginning again, we discuss topics like mental health, emotional intelligence, weight loss, divorce/singleness, mentorship, and more. I soaked in every word from this woman of distinction, authority, power, and grace. Today, I believe you will be changed by her words of wisdom, life experiences, and love for God. I pray that after you listen to this episode, you will feel empowered by the Holy Spirit, encouraged to continue, and equipped with the tools you need to continue in your life’s journey.
