Have you ever come to a tipping point because you’ve become who everyone else wants you to be, yet you’re still not who you want to be either? Have you people-pleased your way right into acceptance only to realize you’re living a double life that you don’t love? Do you ever feel like you are unsure of who you really are?

If any of this describes you, I know you are exhausted! At times in my life, this has definitely described me, and trying to be someone I was not, wore me plum out!

Tabitha Brown understands the journey of becoming comfortable in her own skin, accepting the unique gift of her soul in this world, and embracing who God created her to be. We know Tab as the friendly and encouraging voice on social media who serves up recipes, laughs, and life lessons, while she also reminds us to mind our business in the nicest and best way. Her journey to get where she is today started 20 years ago. She didn’t always show up as the Tab we know and love.

After years of working in entertainment, Tabitha got to the point where she knew she wasn’t showing up as her true self. She was getting the opportunities and jobs she wanted by being who everyone else wanted her to be and doing what everyone else wanted her to do. But the acceptance of others came at the expense of letting her true personality shine. What she thought would give her more freedom to create and inspire was actually holding her back from living a life she loved.

In our conversation, Tabitha and I talk about how to recognize who you are and what it takes to talk well in your own shoes. We also talk about how you being you blesses others.

Experiencing the freedom of showing up as yourself will not only allow you to live fully, it will also compel you to cheer on the people in your circle to be themselves, too.

Even though she seems so easy to love and adore, Tabitha isn’t a stranger to criticism or negative comments. But when you know yourself and your assignment, it makes it easier to not pay any mind to the haters, keep your joy and move through your life with grace. Tab knows that God is leading her and she is committed to honoring her purpose even when she has to give strong no’s to give even stronger yeses. Do you desire to say yes to living well, to walk in freedom and to honor the gift of you in this world? Well then, this conversation will be food for your soul.

Our conversation is full of wisdom and life lessons. From motherhood to the pursuit of goals to managing a full life and fulfilling purpose, this chat will inspire you to live your best life in your shoes.

Never forget that God always dreams bigger plans for you than you have for yourself (Ephesians 3:20). He also honors those who put Him first (Psalm 37:4).

Embrace the life He has prepared for you. Be who He created you to be. Walk in freedom, and take hold of your assignment. Tabitha Brown has found joy and abundance in being uniquely herself.

The same can be true for you too.
