Do you ever feel like time is escaping you? So often we ask ourselves, “How did I even get here??.” Days turn to months and before you know it another year has passed.  Well, in this episode, I’ve organized 5 practical ways to help you pay attention and number your days well.

See Your Soul – A great way to intentionally pay attention to your soul is by journaling. What happened today and how did you feel about it? Your soul is always speaking, but are you listening? I want to encourage you today not to wait until the pain of your situation is shouting at you, but to pay attention to the quiet messages now that your soul is sending.

Monitor Your Money – You’ve worked hard to earn that cash in your pocket, but are you cognizant of where it is going from there? Does where your money is being spent reflect how you truly want to be spending your days? By tracking your spending you can discover those areas that may need some trimming so that you can fully live a life you love.

Inventory Your Time – We all know about budgeting our money, but have you thought about budgeting your time? By tracking where your time goes each day you can begin to realign your schedule to focus on the things that really matter to you, and become more of who God has called you to be!

Notice Your Numbers – Let’s talk about our physical bodies here! How good are you at keeping track of things like your blood work numbers, blood pressure, and other data from the doctor? Hopefully you are going to the doctor at least once a year, but did you know you can go and get your own blood work done and track what your numbers look like throughout the year? In order to be the best advocate for yourself, you have to know the numbers! Not sure where to start? Check in with your doctor and see which numbers they suggest for your season of life.

Pay Attention to Your Prayers –  God is moving in your life, friend, have you seen Him? One of the best ways to see where God has been moving is by writing down your prayers and going back to see where He has answered. A life full of gratitude is one of the sweetest ways we can number our days well.

Your life is a divinely inspired work of art and a gift from God! And while you may not know when your last day will be, you can do the work today to live your days well and honor the gift of God in you! Tune in today and let’s chat!
