A Kingdom Woman's Prayer

Morning Beauties!

I’ve got a little video for you to watch to explain what we are doing today!

In short, today we are praying for one another!  Leave your prayer in the comments. Then, look above you for the person who posted ahead of you.  Hit “reply” and pray for them.  That way we make sure that everyone gets covered!  I do have a few people to help me make sure that everyone gets prayed for so please don’t feel pressure if you don’t feel comfortable praying for the person above you or you feel that their request is above your spiritual “pay grade”.  God will work it all out.

Also, I want to make sure that everyone is journaling. So show me what you have been doing thus far to record your thoughts by taking a picture of the notes you are making in your Kingdom Woman book,  journal, spiral notebook, blog, note pad, etc., and posting it in social media somewhere (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter).  Your pic might help you win a Kingdom Woman Journal!  Be sure and tag me @ChrystalHurst or use the hashtag #KingdomWoman so I can find you!  You have the whole weekend to get this done! I’ll be checking your pics out until Sunday night!

  1. Kelly September 6, 2013 at 8:46 am

Pray strength to endure & persevere!

    • Jan Hardesty September 6, 2013 at 9:25 am

Father God, I lift up Kelly to you this morning. I praise you Father that you have called her to be a Kingdom Woman. Father, I pray for strength for her in order that she might be able to endure and perserve in Your Name. Father, help her to see what beautiful and precious she is in in Your eyes. May her day be blessed by Your Holy Presence. I ask this in Jesus Christ’s name, amen.

Let’s agree to make this a miserable day for the devil!!!

    • Jessica September 6, 2013 at 2:18 pm

Please pray that I get clear instructions from God on my next move. Also, pray for a difficult situation that I am in…need clarity, peace of mind, sustaining joy, and the ability to pray for my enemies joyfully!

      • Jailynn September 6, 2013 at 8:00 pm

Father I pray for Jessica as she has to make some decisions is the coming days. I pray that she receive clear direction from you and that her heart is open to whatever you answer is for her. You KNOW the plans that you have for her and you KNOW what’s best. I pray you give her peace about her decision, especially after it’s made. Whatever your answer is for Jessica, I pray that she knows and feels YOU guiding her and not her heart or what other people tell her to do.

Jessica has also asked for prayer regarding a difficult situation she finds herself in. I pray that she let it go and give it ALL to you. Nothing is too difficult for you.

It is your name I pray. AMEN.

        • Jessica September 6, 2013 at 8:38 pm

Thank you Father for my sister Jailynn. Thank you for her allowing you to use her to pray for me and others! Bless her and give anything she stands in need of today!

Thank you Jailynn! That was a beautiful prayer! God bless!

  2. Jan Hardesty September 6, 2013 at 9:19 am

My prayer is that I continue to seek to be a Kingdom Woman – a woman who comes along side of her husband to be the helper that God created me to be for just him..

    • Teka September 6, 2013 at 9:29 am

I will be praying for you throughout the day!

    • Teonaka September 6, 2013 at 10:01 am

Lord, I lift Jan up to you in prayer this morning. I thank you Father for ALL that you are doing in her and for the blessing she is to her husband and to others. You have created her to be a help mate to her husband and we know that you equip those that you call; so Lord give her all that she needs to be the Kingdom Woman and helper that her husband needs and that you created her to be. In the name of your precious son Jesus, I pray. Amen.

      My prayer request:
Ladies, I want to be all that God wants me to be; I want to do all that He is calling me to do…but sometimes I think, “Lord, I don’t think I’d be very good at that. Don’t you think *insert some other lady’s name* would bring you so much more glory doing that? She’s so much better at that than me!” —- I don’t want to think that way anymore!! I just want to be faithful and not anxious about my calling. Pray that I may have godly courage and boldness to do those things God puts before me and that it will truly bring Him glory. Thank you ladies!

    • Chrystal September 8, 2013 at 9:15 pm

We all need prayer so that God can show us how to be a good helper to our husbands. Praying for you tonight!

  3. Teka September 6, 2013 at 9:24 am

I am asking for balance in my life. I am working a full time and part time job, going to school full time, fulfilling my responsibilities at my church, trying to lose weight, and still work a small business on the side. I desire my relationship with Christ to be stronger, however spending time with Him is declining. Ask for balance and making sure spending time with Christ is my first priority and not rushed.

    • Jailynn September 6, 2013 at 8:15 pm

Lord, I come to you on behalf of Teka who is struggling with balance. Boy howdy do I know all about that. Father, pray first that she is able to spend time with you in prayer and in your word. I pray that she can find a niche of time at the beginning of that day that she can say a short prayer about her day, decisions and lists and then pray throughout the day w/ more prayers (even if they are short) and praises for things she is able to accomplish. In 2013, we are busy, busy, busy women with a LOT of responsibility, but Lord I ask that give her balance. If she needs to make lists, write on calendars, on her phone, I pray you guide her to find a way to assist in creating the balance. Sometimes we will NOT accomplish everything on our lists and sometimes we NEED to say NO … so Lord I pray she is ok with that. Sometimes, we have to close the lip on the laptops and spend time with our families and by ourselves. Lord, I pray that when Teka finds balance, she comes back to this very place and share with you how you amazed her with your guidance and knocked her socks off with what she is able to accomplish.

Father I ask these things for Teka and for myself. 🙂 In Jesus Name, Amen

    • Chrystal September 8, 2013 at 9:16 pm

Tomorrow Teka! One day. Focus on one day. Make time for Him tomorrow 🙂 I’m with you on balance. It’s hard but we can do it. Jesus did it. We can learn from it. Don’t forget to add your gravatar so I can see your face! (gravatar.com)

  4. Tanya September 6, 2013 at 9:25 am

Lord, Please give Kelly the strength to endure through all that life is throwing at her. And help her to remember that perseverance produces character, and with character we will also find hope.Be with all of us this week and help us to stay strong and focused on you.

Ladies – Pray that God will transform who I am at work. I know my attitude is not always what it should be. I want to be a light in that place, and I know that right now, I’m not shining as brightly as I could be. And please pray that I can be that light to my husband and my son, who don’t know the love of Christ. Thanks 🙂

    • Kim September 6, 2013 at 9:55 am

Lord I lift Tanya to you we ask that you continue to bless her and strengthen her to be that light for YOU, to continue to shine and have the peace and patience she needs at her work place and at home with her family. That her husband and son will feel and see YOUR love through her and they will begin to walk with YOU.

      In Jesus Name I pray

    • Chrystal September 8, 2013 at 9:19 pm

Bless you for being the living witness of Christ to your husband and son. Sharing this with you as encouragement! 1 Peter 3:1-2 (ESV) – Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct.

  5. Desiree September 6, 2013 at 9:46 am

I need Prayer for my family/ family business and all other involved! We need to put God at the head of this business and do right by each other.

  6. Kim September 6, 2013 at 9:52 am

Pray that I find the peace and strength to deal with the MAJOR change (we “inherited” two grandchildren last December (age 2 and 1) ~ I thought I was going to be the HAPPY “empty~nester”). I know that this is what is best for all of us, but I am still selfishly struggling 🙁

Have a blessed day ALL 🙂

    • Jules September 6, 2013 at 9:59 am

Asking, Lord, that you give Kim extra peace & strength as she returns to parenting with littles. She needs extra energy that only You can provide! Please accept my feeble faith of prayer for this new sister I now have in You. ((Kim))

    • Machelle September 6, 2013 at 10:49 am

Lord this morning I pray for Kim in dealing with Major change in her life. I pray that she will not lean to her own understanding but she will acknowledge You and You will direct her in everything and also you will give her a peace that passes all understanding.

  7. Jules September 6, 2013 at 10:03 am

    My request:
My psychiatrist has me on his call list for Monday. Please pray that he calls early in the day (less waiting) with the good news that I can come in on Weds, Sept 11 for 48 hrs of pre-tests and then a new treatment/therapy to begin on that Friday. I was to go this week but there was “no room in the inn” and no spaces available for the treatment. The waiting without meds in my system for now nearly a month is like carrying cement. I’m only existing.

If the answer is more waiting, pray for my ability to handle that news.

    • Jan September 6, 2013 at 5:32 pm

Father God, I lift up Jules to you. Father God, I pray right now in the name of Jesus Christ that you would wrap your loving arms about her and let her feel your love and your compassion and your peace. Father, it must be a terrible feeling to feel like you are carrying cement – to be that weighted down. I pray that she will find peace for this weight upon her. I pray that she clings to you as the anchor to her soul. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, the one who came to set the captive free, amen.

      • Jules September 6, 2013 at 7:46 pm

Thank you, Jan, for your prayer! ((hugs))

  8. Desiree September 6, 2013 at 10:05 am

Yu can say this prayer with me;-)

    Office Prayer….
Lord Jesus, as I enter this work place, I bring your presence with me. I speak Your peace, Your grace and Your perfect order into the atmosphere of this office. I acknowledge Your Lordship over all that will be spoken, thought, decided, and accomplished within these walls. Lord Jesus, I thank you for the gifts you have deposited in me. I do not take them lightly, but commit to using them responsibly and well. Give me a fresh supply of Your truth and grace on which to draw as I do my job. Anoint my creativity, my ideas and my energy so that even the smallest task may bring You honor. Lord Jesus, when I am confused guide me, when I am weary, energize me. When I am burned out, infuse me with the light of Your Holy Spirit. May the work that I do and the way that I do it, bring hope, life and courage to all that I may come into contact with today. And , oh Lord, even in this days most stressful moments… may I rest in You. In your strong and powerful name, Jesus Christ, I pray amen.

    Have a blessed day Ladies!

    • Tanya September 6, 2013 at 10:08 am

Desiree – That is a wonderful prayer, and I am writing it down to take with me to work and put in my office. Thank you 🙂

      • Desiree September 6, 2013 at 10:18 am

You are so welcome! I try to say it everyday when I get to work!

      • Jan September 6, 2013 at 10:41 am

Me Too! That is a beautiful prayer for being out and around others daily.

    • bktsmith September 6, 2013 at 10:54 am

Me too! I am saving this prayer as well. I’m going to post it in my office.

    • Tonya September 6, 2013 at 12:11 pm

Bless you for that! I have copied it and will post it above my computer on my billboard. Thank you so much!!

    • Chrystal September 8, 2013 at 9:22 pm

Awesome prayer! I may copy that and share on the blog this week so that everyone sees. Very encouraging to say on a regular!

  9. Lisa September 6, 2013 at 10:32 am

Heavenly Father, I come before you today on behalf of Kim, asking for peace and joy in her current situation. Although she doesn’t know why your plans are not matching up with her plans and it doesn’t seem fair, give her a spirit of contentment knowing that You always know what’s best for us and Your plan is always the best plan because already know the outcome. Show her that You want only what’s good for her and will not give her more than she can handle. Provide her with all she needs to complete the task before her and shower her with blessings and happiness. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!

  10. Lisa September 6, 2013 at 10:39 am

I would like to request prayer for direction. I feel like I’m in a holding pattern right now. I’m going through a divorce, I have outgrown my job, my young children need me, especially my son who has recently been diagnosed with autism, but I’m not able to give them 100% of myself because I have to work and I know that God has placed a ministry inside me to help women, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing. I’m feeling a bit lost, but am trusting God. I know He will give me answers in His time.

    • Tonya September 6, 2013 at 2:50 pm

LORD God and Father, I thank you for my sister. You have blessed her with so many gifts and her desire is to serve You to the full. The season that she is currently in is uncomfortable to her but like diamonds have to be pressed in order to shine, help her understand that this is merely a process and to trust You in the process. Open doors that no man can shut and make opportunities for growth available to her in Jesus name. You know the plans that you have for her. Give her peace as she goes through this process. In Jesus’ name,. amen.

    • Chrystal September 8, 2013 at 9:44 pm

I have a son on the spectrum (somewhere and a little all over the place 🙂 Praying for you tonight. Know that God is able to take what you think are just loaves and fishes and multiply it to get everything taking care of. One day at a time my friend 🙂

  11. rusheika September 6, 2013 at 10:45 am

Praying for you Kim as you parent and love on those precious grandkids, that his grace will be sufficient and you will find your strength and peace in our Lord. I pray that they will see Jesus through you. I also pray that God will give you the time you need to refresh and just be alone when you need to be.

    • Courtney September 6, 2013 at 10:53 am

Father God, I am coming to you with a bowed head and humble heart to pray for my sister in Christ, Rusheika. Lord, I do not know what she is in need of today, but I pray that you will supply all of her needs. I pray that you comfort her today, and let her know that Your love for her supersede any love that man/woman can give. Let her be reminded she’s beautiful and precious in your eyes. She is strong, fearfully and wonderfully made. I ask these things in Your Son’s powerful and precious name, Amen.

  12. rusheika September 6, 2013 at 10:49 am

Please pray for me… I’m pregnant with our 5th blessing and due in about 6 weeks. I’m having severe pelvic pain that keeps me from sleeping well at night and walking comfortably. I am seeing a pysiotherapist and it seems to be helping but God has the power to heal me completely. Thanks!

    • Courtney September 6, 2013 at 10:58 am

I posted one prayer I guess while you were typing. Now that I see this one, let’s pray again!
Dear Lord, Once again I come to you to pray for my sister in Christ, Rusheika. Lord, it is a blessing to bring another life into this world. I’m asking that you take her pain away and give her comfort and peace in her last six weeks of pregnancy. Let her center her mind on you and not the pain. I ask these things in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

  13. Machelle September 6, 2013 at 10:53 am

Good morning Ladies….I’m asking for prayer in learning to trust God as he stretches me and takes me out of my comfort zone, that I totally trust in Him and realize as I do things according to His will ie. teaching and serving “He got me”

    • Zee September 6, 2013 at 11:23 am

I saw that no one covered you in prayer yet, so I’m jumping in. I pray that you would learn to relax and just trust God. I am praying that you would just realize that He is mighty and able to handle it and give you the wisdom to all that He is calling you to do. Trust Him – He is able!

P.S. I’m praying this same prayer for myself. We are not alone – we serve a MIGHTY GOD! We just have to let go and trust Him all the way!

    • jenn September 6, 2013 at 11:56 am

Lord , I am coming to you in prayer on behalf of Machelle. I pray Lord, that you will give her an overwhelming peace as she grows in her willingness and desire to fully surrender to you and your will. And Lord, as she awakes each morning and as she travels through her day, please give her courage and wisdom to know, without a doubt, what your will is for her and clearly show her what direction to go, who to serve with, where to serve, and in all the daily decisions give her ears to hear and a strong heart to follow you and only you.

      Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LOrd with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding: ackknowledge Him and in all that you do and He will set your path straight.

Thank you Lord for all that you have done in Machelle’s life and thank you for all that you are going to do.. It is such a priveladge and an honor to be able to come to You with our deepest desires. Thank you Lord,

  14. Courtney September 6, 2013 at 11:00 am

Lord, I pray for Courtney and her plight of trying to fix everything. Bless her with all spiritual Blessings and continue to give her the peace of mind that she longs for. Please grant her the patience that she’s requesting. I declare that this is done in Jesus Name!! Amen.

    • Zee September 6, 2013 at 11:18 am

I pray that you would relinquish control to God. I pray that you would be released from the stronghold of perfection and that you would learn to enjoy the season that you are in right now. I pray that you would see God’s mighty hand in every task that seems mundane.

P.S. praying the same things for myself girl! Bless you dear lady!

      • Courtney September 6, 2013 at 1:30 pm

I would like to ask God to help me become that daughter, sister, wife, friend that I know I should be without feeling like I’m leaving out somebody or something. I feel almost exhausted trying to fulfill all the roles that I have. I need help. I have been asking Holy Spirit to guide me. Please pray for me in that area.

    • Chris September 6, 2013 at 5:12 pm

Lord God, I come before you and lift my sister in Christ, Tonya, to You, the Most High, Immanuel, El Shaddai. I ask that You would draw her into closer fellowship with and “followship to” You and You alone. Enable her supernaturally by Your great power to totally surrender to You. Have her to be “an all in the boat” believer; that she would follow Your call for her life, for her marriage, for her home. I plead the powerful blood Jesus over this lady, that You would cover her and her family against the wicked attempts by the enemy. Remove the distractions that the enemy may try to use to defeat her. Keep her scheduled time with You guarded. Bless this woman and her precious family for her openness in asking for prayer. In the powerful name of JESUS, Amen.

  24. Chris September 6, 2013 at 12:26 pm

Endurance to complete all that is expected today; words of truth & wisdom to speak into the lives of needy women that I encounter DAILY; plead the blood of Jesus over my girl; draw me CLOSER to HIM in this study

    • Chrystal September 8, 2013 at 10:05 pm

Lord I pray for Chris. I pray that you would give her the strength both in her mind and in her body to be who you’ve called her to be for herself, her family, and to the people she comes in contact with everyday! You have created her uniquely for your glory. Help her to know that you see her and that you receive pleasure from her loving obedience to you in response to your love for her. Bless her today. Amen.

  25. jenn September 6, 2013 at 12:27 pm

I would ask for you to pray for my body to be healed of all sickness. I have been overcoming Lyme for a few years and it has been very challenging. I have a crazy weak immune system and catch a bunch of stuff . LIke if anyone at church, my kids’ friends, anyone at a store, has had any kind of ‘bug” i will catch it. So i ask for protection from catching stuff . ( like flu season coming up)
I also ask for a kind and understanding heart with my kids. We homeschool and I really want to be an energetic, fun, and patient mom. I adore my kids and love them very much. I want to be as loving and patient as I can.
I also would ask for a forgiving spirit concerning a certain sister-in-law . 3 years ago something happened between us ( it was a big , ugly deal) and I still have little corners of dislike and irritation towards her. I feel like I could grow in this area and extend to her the grace Jesus constantly gives me. I love her and pray for her but the old yucky human in me still harbors dislike towards her.
I also have one more request, my daughter and her friend “boy”. He is really a boyfriend but we don’t call it dating. Anyway, I pray for them to keep seeking God’s will in their lives and to put him first. I also pray they will choose to stay pure and to make that a priority. I pray that anything that’s not pure will be unattractive to them.
    Thank you!

    • Katie Hartshorn September 6, 2013 at 1:33 pm

Lord I thank you for Jenn and for the work you are doing in her life and in her body! I come in agreement with her and speak healing to her body! Your word tells us that by Your stripes we are healed! And so in the name of Jesus, I speak complete healing over her body and immune system! That every side effect from the Lyme disease would vanish! Protect her and her family from sickness! And as she homeschools her kids I pray that she would be a vessel for You to work through and flow into their lives. That she would be kind, patient, and understanding with them and that you would give her ideas and success as she teaches them not only “school”, but about you and a relationship with you! I pray for her heart regarding this situation with her sister in law, you know every detail and I pray that you would remind Jenn that you are in control. Help her to walk in forgiveness and in walking in forgiveness, she will ultimately walk in freedom. Place a love for this sister in law in her heart that can’t even be explained, because its from you! And I pray over her daughter and her boyfriend that they will seek you above everything else and I agree with her prayer that if it is not pure, it will have no appeal! Thank you Jesus for taking care of every detail! You are so good! I ask these things in your name! Amen!

      • jenn September 6, 2013 at 5:21 pm

Katie! Thank you so much for that sweet prayer. I truly felt it today! I felt good, had a great day and I laughed and had more patience than I usually do. I thank you for taking the time to pray for me.
This is an amazing group of ladies and I can already see God doing His mighty works.

  26. Crystal September 6, 2013 at 12:45 pm

I need prayer for strength. I’m a disabled mother of one. I feel like the weight of the world is on me. I plan on purchasing the book when I’m able too. Please everyone pray for me. I’m all cried out. I need the Lord and prayer warriors right now. Thank you!

    • Katie Hartshorn September 6, 2013 at 7:13 pm

Lord I thank you for Crystal and that you see every detail of her life. Not one ounce of sacrifice or one tear has gone unnoticed to You! I ask that you would strengthen her and remind her that its in our weaknesses, You are our strength! Meet every need she and her child have. And Lord where she feels the “weight of the world”, help her to cast her cares on you and rest in the truth that You are more than enough and you find pleasure in taking care of her! In Jesus name, Amen!

  27. Peggy Rayburn September 6, 2013 at 1:45 pm

Precious Father I lift Jenn up to you right now and ask that you show her ways to develop her immune system and that you just touch and heal her from her present illnesses. Lord I pray a hedge of protection around her body as she encounters others with illnesses everyday, Lord just keep her healthy and free from sickness. Lord I also ask that you give her an extra measure of peace and patience with her children. Home schooling can be fulling, but trying too. Lord help her to find fun and interesting way to teach her little ones to keep them engaged in their studies. Lord please help Jenn with her battle with forgiveness towards her sister in law. Soften her heart and remove the ill feelings. Lord let her desire to fully forgive as you fully forgive us. Father I also pray for her daughter and her boyfriend, Lord help them to keep their eyes on you and fill them with pure thoughts. Lord help them not be lead astray by what this world has to offer, but to lean on you for guidance. It in in the precious name of Jesus, name above all names that I pray.

    • jenn September 6, 2013 at 7:32 pm

Thank you Peggy! I am truly moved at the very thought that people are going before The Lord with my desires! It gives me such a feeling of encouragement. I have friends pray for me at church and stuff but I have never seen it in writing. Thank you, it is such a blessing to me.

  28. Karla M. Gurley September 6, 2013 at 1:56 pm

Lord I pray for Peggy. I pray that you give her the peace and the strength that she needs to witness to her oldest son and his wife. Help her to find words from you to minister to him and allow him to see you! Let her be a light for him. You are good! You work together all things. We thank you in advance. In Jesus Name. Amen

  29. Joscelyn Campbell September 6, 2013 at 2:15 pm

I would like prayer for spiritual wisdom, strength and healing. I see the Lord’s goodness and blessings manifested throughout my life, my small business, and my family but I need to have more spiritual wisdom in my everyday life. From little things to big things, I want to be able to be more in tune with what the Lord wants me to do. I would like Him to guide my steps as a wife, mother, business owner and Christian woman.
I would like prayer for physical (and spiritual) strength since so much (like most women) depends on me. I want to be able to take better care of myself. (As I write this, I sit in the lobby of my doctor’s office). I put myself last and often do not care for myself properly. Before kids and marriage, I would still take care of others but I was a priority. Often I feel guilty now making myself a priority so I need the Lord’s strength and healing touch over my body and mind.
    Thank you and Blessings!

    • jenn September 6, 2013 at 7:41 pm

Dear LOrd, I come to you in prayer on behalf of Joscelyn. I ask that you will give her guidance and favor as she runs her business. I pray that you will give her peace as she carves out time for herself. Jesus, you set the example for us, even you took time to leave crowds and be alone in a time of prayer with you Jesus, If you needed alone time and knew you needed it, we must have a real need for it. Let us have a peace about it being a true need just as food and water. Please remove all guilt in this area for her as she becomes healthy and vibrant as a mother and wife.
I pray that you heal her from her head to her toes, please give her doctors answers, reveal to them what needs to be known in order for her to be well. You knit her together and know everything in her body.
Please guide her steps and give her comfort , strength and peace as she seeks your will in alll that she does.

  30. bktsmith September 6, 2013 at 2:33 pm

Heavenly Father, I lift sweet Peggy up to you now as she prepares her heart and mind to witness to her son and his wife. Please LORD, give her the wisdom to choose Your words to speak to them. I would ask you to work in advance to prepare them to be receptive to her and what she has to say at just the right time. Thank you for a mother’s heart and for the love she has for her family. LORD, you deserve all the glory and praise for working this out as we pray boldly in the name of Your Precious Son, Jesus! Thank you Heavenly Father for hearing our prayer and answering it. To God be all the glory! Amen!

    • Jeralyn September 6, 2013 at 3:05 pm

Father…for this woman, who I only know as bktsmith, but who You call your daughter…I pray for peace and wholeness. In her prayer, her heart poured out for a sister in Jesus and I ask that You would pour out your waters of refreshing over her own heart and soul. Amen and Amen!

  31. Matilda Harris September 6, 2013 at 2:38 pm

Lord I also pray for Peggy that you would prepare her as your witness. Fill her with your strength and peace that she needs. I also pray for her son and daughter-in-love that you would prepare their hearts to receive Your gospel and that they would know how much they are loved by Peggy and You. Thank You Lord for Your Faithfulness. In Jesus Name Amen.

I need prayer for decisions that I have to make soon. Pray that I wait on God and not lean on my own understanding.

    • Chrystal September 8, 2013 at 10:11 pm

Lord I pray for Matilda! Help her to know what decisions you would have for her to make. Make the right choices clear. Help her to lean on your guidance and direction and not so much on her own understanding. We give you the glory for your work in her life.

  32. Jeralyn September 6, 2013 at 2:59 pm

I am a middle aged wife, mom, nana, an only child married to an only child, taking care of aging parents. I need prayer for all of the transitioning and the challenges of hanging onto who I am and my personal life.

    • Katie Hartshorn September 7, 2013 at 12:00 am

Lord I pray for Jeralyn as she enters a new place in life as she and her husband offer care to their parents, I ask that you will give her supernatural wisdom and strength and peace in every situation and decision she is faced with. Help her to enjoy this time and be able to soak in the sweetness that this season has to offer. Thank you for what you are doing in her life! Amen. #KWteam

  33. Megan H. September 6, 2013 at 3:14 pm

    Heavenly Father,
I pray for Jeralyn right now. I pray for strength as she’s taking care of aging parents. I also pray that You’ll give her grace as she’s going through this transitional season. I pray that she’ll remember, each moment, who she is in You. I also pray that you’ll give her some time refresh and be with You in this season. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

  34. Megan H. September 6, 2013 at 3:18 pm

My husband and I just became licensed foster parents. On Tuesday, we’ll be added to the vacancy list to have a little one in our home. I’m really nervous (scared actually), and not sure I can handle another child right now. I know I’m feeling this way because of fear, so just pray that I rely on the Lord for patience and wisdom during this time. Also, pray that the Lord will bring the right baby into our home and that we can love them with Christ’s love. Thanks!

    • Sherri September 6, 2013 at 5:12 pm

Heavenly Father, I pray for Megan and her family. Give them all that they need to love a little one with the love of Christ. Give them patience and help them to know that you are in control and all things happen in Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ Holy and mighty name I pray, Amen.

I pray this prayer as I have my 16 month old foster daughter squirming on my lap, trying to fall asleep. God bless you and your husband for opening up your home!

    • Jailynn September 6, 2013 at 8:53 pm

Praying for you both Megan and Sherri. I serve foster/adopt parents in ministry and are blessed by families who answer the call! Thank you for opening your heart and your home. 🙂

    • Katie Hartshorn September 7, 2013 at 12:07 am

Lord I pray for Megan and her husband as they open their home to sweet babies and children. Your word says that children are a gift from you, and I believe that you are using this family to bless every child that will enter their home. Full their home with love and joy and hope…and Lord let it be a home of peace. A place of refuge for these sweet babies. Bless their effort and obedience and where they feel they are lacking, I thank you for taking care of every need and detail! Let every child that enters their home encounter your love and your presence through Megan and her husband and their families. Amen! #KWteam

Girl this blesses me… As a single woman, I often toss around and pray about the idea of being a foster mom…thank you for loving these sweet babies!

  35. Sherri September 6, 2013 at 5:16 pm

I need prayer for the Lord’s wisdom and patience to be a Godly mother to my foster daughter. And for patience and to trust the Lord while we go through the process of trying to free her up to be adopted.

    • Katie Hartshorn September 7, 2013 at 12:12 am

Lord I pray for Sherri as she has the opportunity to love this sweet baby girl. Give her wisdom and patience as she cares for this baby physically, spiritually, emotionally, and even financially! Give her and her husband favor as the work towards the adoption process, let your hand be evident in every detail! Amen! #KWteam

  36. Raquel September 6, 2013 at 5:24 pm

Father God, I just lift up Sherri and I pray that she will continue to seek You and You alone as her source of all wisdom. I specifically pray for her during this season as a foster mother. Give her all your attributes of a wise and loving parent and help her to wait on You and Your perfect timing because we know You are are faithful and You are at work in big ways for both Sherri and her foster daughter. In Jesus’ powerful name. Amen.

  37. Raquel September 6, 2013 at 5:29 pm

Please pray for my husband and me as we follow God’s will for our life. We are stepping out in obedience and putting our vulnerability out there in a very specific way this weekend and while I’m excited to see how God uses us, I must also admit I’m a little nervous.

    • Shellye September 6, 2013 at 6:13 pm

Lord Jesus, marriage is a powerful weapon You have give us to show the world and example of Your love for your church. Thank You for our sister, Raquel and her husband for being obedient and stepping out on faith and allowing themselves to be transparent before Your people. Lord, the harvest is plenty, but the laborers are few. Thank You for giving Raquel and her husband the heart of service to be a laborer for You. Be with them at this time, Lord. Give them the words they need to share with others that will honor and glorify You. Allow them to see that what they’re doing is not in vain and help them to continue abiding in You as they go forth in this particular ministry. Thank you in advance for all you will do through this marriage to help others in Your Kingdom. Amen! #KWTeam

  38. Shanell September 6, 2013 at 5:35 pm

    • Shellye September 6, 2013 at 6:08 pm

Father, thank you for my sister, Shanell. Thank you for her life and thank you for her desire to have a closer relationship with you. I come together with her today, Lord, asking you to give her the strength and your Power to live the life You would have her to live that honors and glorifies You. When people see her, allow them to see you in her walk and her talk. Father, none of us is perfect, nor will we ever be, but we know that with Your help, Lord, we can strive to be all that You have called us to be. Thank You right now, Father God, for all You have done for my sister and for what You will do! In Your Son, Jesus’ precious, I pray and ask all these things. Amen! #KWTeam

  39. Shellye September 6, 2013 at 6:01 pm

Lord Jesus, I just thank you today for each if these women who have come here to dig deeper in your word to become the Kingdom Women YOU alone has purposed each of us to be. Lord You know each of the needs, the desires, the hurts, the battles, the victories, the losses, etc, and I pray right now, that You will meet each lady where they are and provide them with what they need to align with Your will and Your purpose in their lives. I thank you in advance, Lord. In Your Son Jesus’ precious and Holy Nane. Amen!!!

  40. Shellye September 6, 2013 at 6:34 pm

LOL. Please excuse my typos in the previous messages, ladies. I’m typing from my cell. My prayer for myself today is for each of my adult children (Anthonie, Kyendel, Typhani, and Daniel) to become more intimately connected with the Lord that each of them will find and attend a good bible teaching church where they are. I know the bible says that if you train up a child in the way he should go that when he is old, he will not depart from it. I do trust that. I just need some saints to agree with me in prayer for that extra oomph! 🙂 I thank the Lord for keeping each of them safe.

    • Brittany Carter September 6, 2013 at 7:00 pm

Lord Jesus we come to you today just thanking you for allowing us to see another day, for we know that it is not promised to us Father God. Right now in the name of Jesus i just want to lift up Shellye’s kiddos and i call them by name Father God Anthonie, Kyendel, Typhani, and Daniel that you order their steps in your ways Father God. I ask that you allow the Holy Spirit to touch them in ways they never could have imagined in that it leaves them passionately seeking after your Kingdom. Father God we just ask that you place people in their lives that will enhance their journeys in Christ and remove those things that will create a barrier from getting to know you on a more intimate level. Lord we thank you for all that you are and will be in the lives of Shellye’s children. In Jesus Name Amen

    • Joy September 6, 2013 at 7:00 pm

Lord I thank you for this desire on her heart and ask that you show her signs where Anthonie, Kyendel, Typhani and Daniel each individually are seeking you. As moms we know that we give them the word as as they grow they have choices but we ask that you draw them nearer through situations, through the right friends, and through their church family. Thank you for a Kingdom Woman like Shellye seeking You Lord for her children’s desire for relationship, not religion, in their lives. In Jesus Name, I pray Amen.

    • Sharon September 6, 2013 at 8:44 pm

Heavenly Father I lift up A to you asking that she will experience your peace and presence. I pray that she is reminded that you have promised to never leave or forsake us. Father I pray there is someone near that she can connect with and be encouraged. I know that you see her and you know her by name. Father I pray for healing and restoration, and thank you in Jesus’ name Amen.

    • Jailynn September 6, 2013 at 8:50 pm

Lord for “A”. You KNOW who she is. You made her, you created her and know the very count of the hairs on her head. I pray for her illness right now and that she is able to seek medical good medical attention. I pray for healing and pray that her medical costs be covered. She says she feels alone, so I pray for friends and family to come along side of her to get her through this time. Her family is disjointed right now, so I pray that YOU and only YOU bring them together and that they realize it was you. For any who don’t know you, I pray that someone or something is used to bring them to your feet and accept as their Lord and Savior, so they can encourage and minister to one another. “A” has this desire for her family to be together. Until that time, I pray that you bring healing to her heart, soul body and mind and a friend that she can share this time in her life (the ups and the downs). She still feels the loss of her father and I pray that you comfort her as only YOU our FATHER can. Turn it all around her Lord, turn it around. We love you Lord. Wipe her tears and give her joy, not happiness but joy even before things get better. Let her know you love more than she could EVER fathom.

      In Jesus Name, Amen.

    • Shellye September 7, 2013 at 2:48 pm

Good afternoon, A, before I pray, would you mind letting us know where you’re located? Maybe someone in this group can locate a ministry near you that can sit with you and pray with you in person or over the phone. Father God, I stand agreement with the prayers that have already been prayed on A’s behalf. I pray that You will give us what we need to be a blessing to her in her time a need. Please help her to know that she is NEVER alone as long as You are part of her life. Please reassure Her that You are her comforter, her provider, her father and her friend. You are all things to us at all times. Lord, I cannot say that I know what she is going through. However, I pray you will bring someone to her that can help her get through this time and not give up on You. Thank You, Lord. We pray, ask, and thank You for Your presence, Your peace, and Your Help always. In Your son’s precious name. Amen! #KWTeam

Well I’m learning to reply to blogs so Shellye got double prayer! AMEN!! LOL!

My prayer request today is for my family’s finances and faith-walk through these hard times. I am asking God to remove the burdens of lack, restore the harvest and support my husband’s silent presence in our finances during these times. Pray for my business for an increase in all areas and the in pouring of Godly Kingdom-minded women who want their businesses to be an outpouring of the Lord’s love. For FAITH in ACTION and WISDOM to wait and move where the Lord tells us. For us to be prepared for the increase that will come. For more leadership from my husband in family worship and spiritual growth.

    • Rana September 6, 2013 at 7:49 pm

      Dear Jesus,

You say in your word ask and you shall receive. Tonight, I lift up Joy and her family to you. I pray that you provide for all of their financial needs. Give them wisdom and guidance to help their business be plentiful. I pray over her husband that you guide him to be the spiritual leader you designed him to be. I ask you pour these blessings upon them. In your name I pray, Amen

    • Michelle September 6, 2013 at 7:55 pm

Dear God, my prayer tonight for Joy is that you would increase her faith-walk through these hard times, helping her to realize that regardless of the appearance of lack, You will provide for her and her family just as You do for the birds of the air. I lift her husband to You, that he would become the leader of their household as You have purposed him to be in all areas. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    • Sharon September 6, 2013 at 8:28 pm

Heavenly Father I lift up Joy and her family to you. Thanking you that she is strong and wise. Lord in you there is all that we need to succeed in every aspect of our lives. Father I pray that as Joy is seeking your direction in obedience to your word that you will pour out your blessings in her family life so that during these challenging times they would know without a doubt that you are a very present help. Lord God I pray that as she encourages her husband you will work in his heart to lead his family as you have so called him. I pray that as you enlarge her territory that she is prepared to bless many through the success of business. Thank you Lord Amen.
      God bless you Joy!

  46. Marie September 6, 2013 at 8:04 pm

Please pray that I keep it together. Praying for strength raising my son to be a kingdom man.

    • Katie Hartshorn September 7, 2013 at 7:50 am

Lord I pray for Marie, I thank you that your word says that you give us everything we need for life and Godliness. And I pray that as she raises her son to be a man after your heart, you will do exactly that. Give her wisdom and help her to know that she is not alone! That you are always with her and always for her. Take care of everything that she has need of…and in the process, bring her closer to you! In Jesus name, amen! #KWteam

      • Marie September 7, 2013 at 9:05 am

Katie, thank you for this prayer! I was reading it with tears in my eyes. Praying God’s blessings for you.

        • Katie Hartshorn September 7, 2013 at 5:36 pm

Marie, it is truly an honor to pray for you! 🙂

  47. Michelle September 6, 2013 at 8:06 pm

My prayer request is for continued reconciliation between my husband and me, that we will be able to strive and rise to the occassion for which God has called us to. I pray for the ability to grow deeper in God’s Word, becoming the Kingdom Woman He has created me to be.

  48. Sharon September 6, 2013 at 8:38 pm

My request is to overcome discouragement in family relationships. Sometimes it’s easy to give up, but my desire is to demonstrate love and forgiveness. Also pray that I will learn to be content in ministering to others as God directs me, and not get ahead or in the way of what God is working out in someone’s life.

    • Shellye September 7, 2013 at 2:31 pm

Dear Lord, I bring Sharon before You. I pray that You will give her encouragement in place of discouragement when it comes to family relationships. Help her to forge ahead and continue to show love and forgiveness at all times because that is what You would have us to do even when it is difficult to do so. Give her strength and wisdom as well as courage to continue to show your love to those who don’t appreciate it and may not even deserve it in our eyes but always in Yours. Lord, help her to learn how to be content in ministering to others and give her Your words to share. Please go before her and make the path a little easier to navigate so she can do Your will in the lives of others. Help her to humble herself so that is not her, but You who comes through to others as she talks and as she walks. Help others see You in her before they see her. Help her to discern when You would like her to step in to minister and when to step back and allow Your hand to move in a situation so she does not hinder what You are trying to do in the lives of others. Jeanna, Baltimore, Maryland, Solo

A day behind please forgive me. Please pray hard for me that I learn how to better manage my time (obviously this is an issue). Im also going to start fasting on Monday so please pray that the week of fasting goes well and re-shapes and shifts all aspects of my life. Please pray that God reveals His purpose for my life to me. Im so lost, nothing makes clear sense as to what my purpose is. Yet I help so many people with a variety of things and do well with that go figure. I just want to get and stay focused for the Lord in one area and not be all over the place.

Thank you for taking the time to pray for me on my behalf, you are a true blessing.

Be her God and Savior. May she put her hope in You all day long. (Ps.25:11) Show her the priorities you want her to make. Help her to seek You in all she does, even if it means waiting to hear a clear word. Show her Your desires for her spiritually, physically and mentally as well. Direct her footsteps according to Your word. Be a lamp unto her feet and a light to her path. (Ps 119:133, 105) Thank You, Father, that You are faithful!

  53. Stephanie September 7, 2013 at 10:54 am

Please pray for my marriage to be restored.
Lord help me to be the woman, wife & mother God has called me to be .

    • Shellye September 7, 2013 at 2:16 pm

Dear Lord, I pray for my sister Stephanie right now. Lord, you are for marriage. There is nothing You desire more than to have your marriage covenant upheld. In this respect, Lord, if it is Your will that this marriage be restored, I ask that you do more than restore it, I ask that you revive it again, fortify it, and make it a Kingdom Marriage fit to be an example to the world as You would have it to be. I pray for Stephanie’s heart during this time, Lord. As she waits patiently upon You to move, Lord, I pray You would comfort her and keep her mind on You. Lord, as a newly married woman, I learned that the only thing I can change is me. You are in control of everything else. So, Lord, I ask that You give Stephanie peace in the midst of her storm, and give her the strength, the courage, and the wisdom to work on her walk with you and her spirit, so that she can be the woman, wife, and mother You created her to be despite of what her circumstances look like. Give her joy, unspeakable, deep, deep down in her soul, Lord. Help her to keep her eyes focused on You. Help her to take responsibility for her actions and her responses so that they are honoring You and help her to know that when she does this, You will take care of the rest. No matter what the result is, Lord, help Stephanie to know that You want the best for her. Help her to know that You love her unconditionally and that she is valued above diamonds and rubies and any other jewels or precious metals. Give her peace that surpasses all understanding and remind her that you are working all things together for her good no matter how things look on the outside. Help her to hold on to You and Your word every second, every minute, and every hour. I thank you right now for what You have already done in advance for this prayer, Lord. We love You and we trust You to do what You said You would do in our lives. In Your son Jesus’ precious name. Amen! #KWTeam

  54. Jennifer September 7, 2013 at 11:01 am

My prayer request is to be a KINGDOM WOMAN in my everyday walk, especially on my job. I have allowed myself to be involved in office gossip and it has caused a lot of hurt. I am so so sorry for this. I want to be able to have wisdom to say and do the right thing and be a better example for his glory.

    • Shellye September 7, 2013 at 2:01 pm

Father God, I come to you right now to pray for my sister, Jennifer. Lord, Your desire is for us to be Kingdom Women. You have called us to be Kingdom Women in everyway. Because it is Your will that we be Kingdom Women, Jennifer’s request is in line with what you would want for her and so I pray and ask that You will help her in this area. When she looks good, You look good! So, Lord, please help her in her daily walk. Help her in her daily talk. Help her actions speak louder than her words. Help her to be a leader, not a follower when people at her office say things that are not of you and are hurtful to others. Forgive her where she has not lived up to Your standards, Lord. Please give her the wisdom and discernment to say and do the right thing and be a better example to other women in her circle of influence. Lord, You have called us to be the light in a world of darkness, WE are the salt of the earth. Help Jennifer to season her circle of influence with Your flavor, not the world’s. I ask and pray all these things in Your son’s precious and Holy Name! Amen. #KWTeam

Father God, I pray that if its in your will that you would bless Renee with a miracle that would only come from you where her car is fixed for free. I pray that her daughter will not need knee surgery and that you would place your hand on the top of her head and heal her to the bottom of her feet today. You are the best physician this earth will ever know, I pray for her healing today. And lastly, I pray that you would overflow Renee’s income in ways unimaginable. I pray that increase is upon her and her family today. The finances you give to her I pray that it would not only impact her, but impact those that she will serve. I pray these things in your name, Amen.

Lord God, I come before you lifting up April and her children. You are a God that loves children and wants to see them thrive. Regardless of any disability or health ailment they are fearfully and wonderfully made and can still be used. I pray that they will experience your love in every area of their life.

I pray for your will to be made clear to April in regards to work. You know the best place for her to be. Matter fact that place is already set up. I ask God that you would lead her to where you need her to not only work to support her family but work to win souls to Jesus through her light in her life.

  57. Doris September 7, 2013 at 11:16 am

My prayer request is for all the missing children and people around the world. I focus this week on touching and agreeing with the families that their love ones are returned home safe and that the person(s) who took them will be brought to justice. Human trafficing is a very serious issue. Praying that this spirit will be lifted in Jesus name.

    • Jeanna September 7, 2013 at 11:38 am

Praying in agreement with Doris about children who are lost from family or enslaved in sex trafficking. I pray God that in the confusion of it all you would let these children know you are there, that they can call out to you. I pray that for those involved in these crimes, that you would break the mental and emotional chains that hold them in bondage to hurt innocent children. I pray that they not get rest until they free those children and themselves.

      In Jesus name Amen!

    • Donelle September 7, 2013 at 11:42 am

Father, thank you for this request that you have laid on Doris’ heart. Father, I stand in agreement and pray that your Spirit would flood the earth and release the stronghold of slavery of all forms. Yahweh, your Love is needed on the earth to break the yoke of bondage and to soften the harden hearts. Lord, let your children start a fire of freedom and justice on the earth. Let us understand that unjust slavery and capture breaks Your heart and consequently, it should break ours. Father, bring peace to the loved ones that are looking for the lost ones. Send your Hope that will propel them to keep believing not only in You but in the best outcome in finding those that are lost. Provide strength to those in bondage. Father, fan the flames not only in Doris but in all of us to do what you have called us to do concerning the lost and enslaved. Let faith, hope, and love be our focus. In Jesus name.

  58. Billie, Pacific Northwest, Solo September 7, 2013 at 11:19 am

Also a day late! Would you please pray for my 18-year old son who we just sent to college? He has joined a fraternity and I don’t think he is making the choices that he should. I find myself having terrible guilt every day about what I should have done better or different so that he would have started out on firmer ground you know what I mean? Although we went to church, we weren’t faithful every Sunday, so obviously wasn’t a priority. Nor was praying together, or reading the Bible. NOW I can see, but at the time I didn’t notice how much that would direct his choices later on. I can’t shake the guilt, and keep praying for forgiveness and direction. I still have two more teenagers at home and find myself wondering how to begin to make changes now that would help shape them, but it seems like it would be so out-of-the blue.

    • Debbye September 7, 2013 at 12:23 pm

Father, please bless Donelle in this new path, and ease her trepidation as you help strengthen her. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. Please help Donelle to always remember this as she seeks to do your will and follow what you have called her to do. Please bless this beautiful Kingdom Woman. In Jesus Name, Amen.

    • Shellye September 7, 2013 at 1:32 pm

Father God, I come to you right now to pray for my sister, Billie and her son who just went off to college as well as the teens she still has at home! First, Lord, please give Billie the confidence in You that even if a little seed was planted in her son, Lord, she has helped to protect him from the evil one. Lord, you said if you train up a child in the way he should go that when he is old he will not depart from it. Lord, as a mom, I know how Billie feels. Sometimes we feel inadequate in how we have provided training for our children, but help her to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that if one word got through to her son as a child, Lord, he will not depart from it. Lord, help her to hold onto the fact that it’s not about going to church, but what we as parents show our children in our actions that they will remember in the times when they need to. Lord, help her to trust that You are in control and that You have her back. Please take away the feelings of guilt and worry, Lord. Where there’s an area that needs to be forgiven, Lord, please forgive her. Help her to pray for her children daily in their presence and in her quiet time. You are ALL powerful and ALL knowing and You are in control of the lives of her children, Lord. When we put things in Your hands, Lord, we can trust and believe that everything is going to be alright. Lord, help Billie’s son make right decisions. Prick his heart with the words he learned as a child that will keep him from going down the wrong path, Lord. Please bring godly young people, as well as adults, that can see that You are deep down inside of Him, and will help direct and guide him while he is away from home. Lord, bring godly women around Billie, who will surround her and help her with her teens at home. Bring godly mentors who will come alongside her to help train them and guide them so that she does not have to do it all alone. Lord, I believe You have already answered Billie’s prayer and I believe You have answered mine and so I thank You in advance for what You are doing to bless this family at this time. Thank you for Billie, for coming to this place and allowing her to share her feelings. Thank you for allowing me the time to support and encourage others. Thank You for who You are! In your son’s precious and Holy name, I pray and ask and thank You right now. Amen! #KWTeam

    • Shellye September 7, 2013 at 1:53 pm

Billie, what types of youth programs are available at your church? May I share with you what I’ve done? We have a great children and youth ministry, but I also got my children involved in VBS at other churches as well as camps. Then I read, read, read, and read some more, and I bought the series YouthWalk by Walk Thru the Bible Ministries that helped me talk to my kids about different things as they progressed through life. I made a daily schedule where they had private devotional time and then we had family devotion and I allowed them to pick the topic they felt comfortable talking about (sometimes I chose!). It was difficult at first and we weren’t always consistent, but even if you set aside a day per week to start with, ask them what they learned at church, etc., that will get you on track. Now, my youngest volunteers at a church close to our home and their youth pastor sends us emails with devotionals to help us talk to our kids. One of the things they have done is a 30 day prayer for our students. Feel free to go to this link to pull down a guide and calendar to help you as you begin this journey. http://www.dfbconline.org/thirty_days I hope this helps! Don’t be afraid to start!

  59. Bertha Harris September 7, 2013 at 11:22 am

    • kimberly September 7, 2013 at 11:27 am

Lord Jesus I pray for Bertha that you would help her slow down and see you in every moment of her day. Help her to know and enjoy you in a new and exciting way. Give her quiet so that she can hear your voice and grow into the Kingdom woman that you have planned just for her. I pray this in the blessed name of Jesus our Lord and Savior. Amen.

I am launching an outreach ministry utilizing animal therapy for autistic children, rape and abuse victims, and others. I need to find a place with a bit more land for the llamas and dogs being trained, and I ask for prayers for this ministry.

    • Katie Hartshorn September 8, 2013 at 7:36 am

Lord I thank you for Debbye and for the burden you have placed in her heart for a much needed ministry! I pray that you would open doors that only you can open for her and provide all that she needs so that she can do what you’ve called her to do with excellence. The animals, the land, the finances, the people and workers..bring her all of the best. And Father as those people receive therapy I pray for complete healing in their bodies, emotions, hearts, and minds and that through this ministry they will come to know you! Thank you in advance Lord! Amen!

Prayer Request: For wisdom and courage while I am in transition in most areas of my life. That I walk out what God has called me to do in this season without apology.

    • Shellye September 7, 2013 at 1:17 pm

Lord, I pray for my sister, Donelle. You know her heart and her innermost desires. You know her from head to toe. Please give her the wisdom, strength, endurance, and courage to carry out what You would have her to do while she is in transition in various areas of her life. Help her to boldly walk in the purpose, power, and possibilities that You have already given her for this season in her life. We know that as she continues to align herself with You and Your word, that everything will fall into place because you said it in Romans 8:28 – ALL things work together for good for those who are called according to Your purpose! Don’t let her get tired or discouraged, Lord. If she feels weak at times, please lift her burden and make it so light that she will feel like she’s gliding into what You would have her to do. I pray and ask all these things in Your son, Jesus’ precious and Holy name. Amen! #KWTeam

I’m thankful that you’ve placed this compassionate ministry on her heart Lord God and I pray you continue to walk with her in it. All these things I pray in Jesus name, Amen.

    • Debbye September 7, 2013 at 2:56 pm

Thank you for praying for me, Ashleigh. I pray for you as well, and ask God to bless you in all the ways you need and to keep you in His amazing grace. 65. Ashleigh September 7, 2013 at 12:43 pm

Prayer request: To understand how God intends to use me in my new position at work for His good, so that my success is His.

    • Shellye September 7, 2013 at 1:02 pm

Lord, I pray for my sister, Ashleigh! Please show her what you would have her to do in this position at work so that it aligns with Your word and Your will and for Your glory. Give her wisdom and understanding and clarity about your plan and purpose for this new season in her life. The fact that she wants her success to be YOUR success is what you asked of her, so I pray right now that You will grant her her desire to know You and Your purpose so she can fulfill it on Your behalf. Thank you, Lord, for ALL that you are. Thank You for allowing us to come into Your presence and ask anything for Your name sake. I thank You in advance for Your answer to this prayer and all of the prayers that have been prayed this weekend! In Your son’s precious name, we pray and ask all these things, Amen! #KWTeam

  69. Cheryl September 7, 2013 at 3:20 pm

Ladies….I really screwed up and did not display Kingdom Woman actions last night. I am feeling it today. Long story short, I play on a co-ed softball team, and last night before the game, my husbands close friend was changing into his ball shirt, and just very jokingly and in good fun, I said “hey wait, let me get a dollar bill”.
I had no idea how those 8 words could cause so much hurt, anger, embarrassment, humiliation and damage in a marriage. In my heart of hearts, I promise, I was truly was just trying to be funny (because this guy is a really BIG guy, if you know what I mean) I meant no harm, and I certainly meant no sexual connotations. It was all in good fun.
What I didn’t realize though, is that in my attempt to be “funny”, I really hurt my husband. After the game he actually asked me if there was something “going on” between me and this guy. After I almost choked on my own spit, I got mad…really mad. How DARE him ask ME a thing like that??? After 15 years of marriage and all we have been through, how could he even THINK something like that?? I have 4 word that describe what happened: HIGH-SPEED COME APART!!!I
Things went from bad to worse in 0.2 seconds. And ladies…I’m going to be truthful here…. There was not one shred of Kingdom Woman to be found in me anywhere. NOT ONE!!!
I was so angry at my husband for even THINKING something like that could happen that I never once looked in the mirror and thought it was because of my stupid, trying to be funny comment that started it all in the first place. So essentially, I got mad at him because he asked a legitimate question based on something I said….and my reaction was anything less than Christ like.
    I guess I share this story for 2 reasons….
    1) If you truly want to know what’s in your heart, look what comes out of your mouth when you get squeezed. I got squeezed last night and I am embarrassed at what came out. The true disposition of my heart really showed.
    2) Satan will attack with a blindsided sucker punch! Ladies, protect your marriages. Do not give Satan a foothold. If you give him an inch, I promise, he will take a mile. I gave him a tiny entrance in my sacred marriage when I made a stupid comment trying to be funny, and he took that comment and ran with it….he ran right inside my husbands head!!

Thank God I have a Kingdom Man husband, who though his own hurt, recognized it immediately from the beginning that this was not about whether or not I was cheating on him, but it was Satan playing a game.
I am glad to say we were able to shut him down, however, it proved to me just how far I have to go to become a real Kingdom Woman. I still have a very heavy heart today because I realize that I am not who I thought I was nor is my spirit where I thought it was.
I am grateful that even though I hurt my husband deeply, he forgave me instantly.
    Thanks for letting me share!

    • Shellye September 7, 2013 at 3:54 pm

Thank You, Lord for Cheryl and for giving her a heart to recognize when her actions have not been becoming or pleasing to You. Thank You that she knows to come to You with a humble heart asking for forgiveness as well as allowing her to recognize that small things to us may be big to our husbands and vice versa. When we know You, You will help us when we get off track and allow the enemy to get through. Lord, I pray that You will continue to press upon her the importance of respecting our husbands in every way and give her discernment and wisdom in her speech and actions when she is with her husband as well as when she is in other situations where she represents him as his wife and where she represents You as a Kingdom Woman. Help her to continue to put into practice the instructions you’ve given us in Your word and please continue to guide her as she continues to strive to be the Kingdom Woman you’ve called her to be. Thank you for allowing this lesson to be a lesson to us all and thank you for allowing her to be transparent and honest about what happened because her sharing helps us all and that is what you’ve called us to do as Kingdom Women – help each other. Father thank you for giving Karen the courage and wisdom to seek you first. Your word says when we seek you first all these other things will be added. Give her the wisdom and guidance that she requests in her finances, relationships and yes Lord especially for the kingdom man you have picked just for her. Thwart the plans of the enemy to deceive and distract her from what you have called her to be and to do. Remind her daily that her life is in your hands and she can’t trust you for the outcome! In Jesus Name!!! #KWteam

      • Carla September 7, 2013 at 8:00 pm

Excuse the error CAN trust you!!!

  71. Katheryne September 7, 2013 at 5:55 pm

Heavenly Father, it is a joy and privilege to come before You with Karen’s needs. Thank you for drawing her into You and bringing her to a place of surrender such that she looks to You for all of her needs. You are good and gracious and delight in giving your children good things. Father, Karen needs wisdom & guidance in making daily decisions. You promised to make her paths straight when she acknowledges you in all of her ways and does not lean to her own understanding. Father, I pray for You to supply Karen with greater strength to resist leaning to her own understanding as she continues to acknowledge You in her daily decisions. I pray that You will grant her more of Your Spirit and the mind of Christ to be able to discern what is of her understanding and what is of Yours. Please open her eyes to see when she should and should not give, when she should and should not save, when she should and should not spend. Provide her with Your wisdom and give her clarity to know when the wisdom she is presented with aligns with Your purposes.

Father, You created her to be in community and so that desire came from You. As she delights herself in You, grant her the desire of her heart for friendship, companionship and a godly husband. LORD God, help her to prepare to serve him and the children she may bear for him. Give her joy unspeakable as she does so. Many times in Your Word, You announced the blessings of Your people before they materialized. Father, if it be in Your will, by Your Spirit, announce the blessing to her in a way that will be clear and unmistakably from You. And Lord, should You decide to suddenly bless her without announcement, please give her patience in the process of preparation. You love her with an everlasting love and know what is best for her. Reveal Your great love to her in big and small ways.

We love You. We honor You. We thank You for being so good to us. We look forward to fulfilling Your purposes and Your plans. I look forward to the provision that You will make for Karen. And Father, if there be any obstacles that would prevent Karen’s husband from finding her, by the power of Your Holy Spirit, remove those obstacles and show yourself mighty on her behalf. We trust You and wait for You and You alone.

    In Jesus’s precious name, Amen.

  72. Katheryne September 7, 2013 at 5:59 pm

My prayer request is for help with a difficult class that I will be taking beginning this coming Monday. Thank you.

    • carla September 7, 2013 at 8:59 pm

Father we thank you for creating this wonderful instrument called the brain. You gave us the ability to learn new things, retain knowledge and act on what we’ve learned. Your word reminds us that there is nothing too hard for you. So we come boldly on behalf of Katheryne and the class she will be entering on Monday. We ask that you order all of her brain cells to line up according to what you created them to do. As she is learning cause her to take the right notes, retain the right key words and answers so that she easily calls them back to her remembrance during tests and quizzes. Let what she learns not just be from memory but also use what she learns to uplift your kingdom! In Jesus Name Amen #kwteam

  73. Tamera September 7, 2013 at 8:28 pm

Prayer request for my 2 children; one is a Jr in high school the other is attending a technical school. I need to strengthen my Christian walk and hope that my kids faith will grow stronger. I also would like prayer for the adoption process that I am going through and that things are aligned with God’s will for my family.

    • carla September 7, 2013 at 9:20 pm

Father thank you for this journey of faith that Tamera is experiencing with her family; How precious that you have given them a heart for children and the molding and shaping of their lives. We pray that you continuously confirm to her family that they are walking in your will in the adoption process.
We pray for her children and that they will see parents who fear the Lord in word and deed. This is a time in their lives where relationships with parents can be strained but we know that your word says “train up a child in the way that they should go and when their old they will not depart from it”..For whatever their spiritual level you know how to “make all things work together for good for who love you and are called according to your purpose”… Show this family the path to their destiny as Kingdom People. Remind Tamera that before time you knew that she would be at this place and time in her life.. Let her experience the joys of motherhood and seeing her children come to know you with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Lord we’re asking for Tamera to experience a growing and surrendered life in her faith walk with you. In Jesus name! Amen #KWteam

  75. Irene Garcia September 8, 2013 at 4:28 am

My prayer request is for my grandchildren of 6. I have 2 adult children 7 yrs apart. My daughter is married with 2, and my son Christian has 4 children with three different women. He is divorced and living with a woman. Two of his children were left with me over a year ago, and my husband & I now are raising a 3 yr old Genevieve & 5 yr old Kingston. I have been married for 32 yrs, and we both are believers. We have a home church & surround ourselves with positive family & friends, which are a few. I don’t have allot of people on my fb, and pretty much keep to myself. We attend a couples bible study in our church. My husband is a recovering drug & alcoholic and volunteers at a hospital for people who are addicted. We both were baptized last year Apr 13, and the children were dropped off one weekend by their mother in May of last yr whom we have not seen since. She moved out of town, and does not keep up with the children. My son see’s them once of week, if that. However we have excepted this as our responsibility as their grandparents to raise them. However a anonymous report was filed, that I was abusive to my grandchildren that I gave my granddaughter 2 black eyes, and my husband was a drunkard. CPS came to our home unexpectedly during the week at night. My heart is heavy because none of the report was true. Please pray for my grandchildren’s protection, my marriage, and that my husband and I remain saved. Also for the person who would have done this. I believe in the power of prayer, and I thank you in advance for your prayers. Blessings, Irene

    • Michelle September 8, 2013 at 7:45 am

God I pray for Irene’s grandchildren, that they will be protected and grow to be faithful servants of Yours. I pray for Irene and her husband that their marriage will withstand the attacks of the enemy, that they will remain in You and seek You in all things. I thank You for their lives and willingness to accept responsibility for their grandchildren. God, You know & see all, and I count it done in Jesus’ name, Amen.

    • K.Roy September 8, 2013 at 5:38 pm

Hello my love! Let every man be a lie and God be the truth. May you and your husband be not move by the tactics of the enemy and those who would come against you. God Is your lawyer in this situation and will go before you. He will and is fighting on your behalf. You woman of God praise him for the victory. Remember that life and death lye in the power of your tongue…speak wisely over your circumstance.

  76. Alexia September 8, 2013 at 9:10 am

I need to find a balance in my life and to accept God’s will for me whatever it is… I want to have passion for His will in my personal life and professional one. I need to find my joy in Him and to know Him better and better.

    • Shellye September 8, 2013 at 1:28 pm

Father God, I come humbly before you on behalf of my sister, Alexia. First of all thanking You for today and for another day to experience Your new mercies. Specifically, will you please help our sister find balance in her life, Lord, and give her the understanding and clarity to know and accept Your will for her life. Give her the passion and desire for Your will to be done in her personal and professional life. Giver her the assurance that You are in control of all things so that she can experience the joy that only You can give even when the circumstances of life seem to show the opposite. Help her to get to know You better through growing her relationship with You through Your word and connecting with Your people. Please surround her with loving women of Titus who can help guide her on her journey to Kingdom Womanhood and help her to see her way clearly through it all. We love you and we thank you in advance for doing what You do best! And may her blessing be a double blessing to someone else in due season. I ask, pray, and thank You in Jesus’ name. Amen! #KWTeam

Late!! I am just beginning the journey with you as I had company all week so I missed the kickoff Wednesday. I am a bit confused as to where to post my first comment. But oh well. I have no idea how Gravatar works or if mine is showing up either. So here goes:
#1 Song: probably a classic hymn like Be Thou My Vision
#2Present season: stay at home mom of 3 yr old and 1 yr old, always tired, desire to be KW alongside my KM.
#3 A few older church ladies have been my female role models
#4 I will be a KW when: I can accept that God already calls me one!!

    • Shellye September 8, 2013 at 3:17 pm

Welcome to the journey, Leah! The first comment would be posted on the blog post titled Kingdom Woman Wednesdays, dated September 4th. Your prayer requests may be posted in the comments on this blog post dated September 6th. #KWTeam

  79. Teresa R. September 8, 2013 at 1:54 pm

My prayer requests is that the spirit of fear, the fear of failing, in particular, will be lifted off of me. I have just started homeschooling my youngest 3 children and I am terrified of failing them. I have gifts and talents that I know He has given me, but have been too afraid use them. Dreams that I have had as a little girl that went unfulfilled because I let the spirit of failure or of not being good enough get the best of me. It breaks my heart because I see it rearing its ugly head in one of my sons. My prayer is that this spirit be broken and that it stops with me.

    • Wendy Garner September 8, 2013 at 3:19 pm

      Hello Teresa,
You are going to be a great homeschooling mom. With all that care and concern going into it there is no way you are going to fail. I pray that God lifts the strong hold that is on you in this area of fear and gives you a greater understanding of how to be totally free from it. In Jesus name, Amen.

    • Shellye September 8, 2013 at 3:25 pm

Father God, I humbly bring before You, Teresa, and her requests, Lord Jesus. You know her heart and her desires to be successful and aligned with You as she rears her children. Help her to know that You will give her everything she needs to train up her children in Your will and in Your way. Help her to gain wisdom and courage as she strives to succeed in this area and season of her life and help her to be an example to her children to trust in You in everything. Lord, please allow her to know when and where to use her gifts and talents and in so doing, allow her words and actions show her children how to use their talents and skills for Your glory as well. I pray, ask, and thank you in advance! Amen! #KWTeam

Hi Teresa! Chrystal has a wonderful group of women that can support and encourage you as you seek to homeschool your children. If you’ll send her a message or send me your email address, I’ll invite you to the group. I have a new mom in my small group who I’m going to invite today as well so, if you’re interested, I’ll be happy to do that for you. Be blessed and encouraged!

    • Kyaunnee Richardson September 8, 2013 at 5:22 pm

2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind.” A friend of mind gave this verse to me when I was unsure about certain things in my next step in life and fear of failing. I ask right now, in the name of Jesus, that God will renew your strength, your mind, your heart and your spirit. You are rooted in Him. Always remember Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Father, I ask for a tremendous blessing upon Teresa’s life. Keep her and guide her in the way everlasting, in Jesus’ name, amen.

    • Chrystal September 9, 2013 at 5:08 am

Praying for you dear 🙂 All homeschool moms feel this way when they are starting out. You’ll do fine.

  80. Wendy Garner September 8, 2013 at 3:25 pm

I ask for strength in the big storm I am in. To be reminded that He is answering prayers and concerns I had going into this path to destiny and that I should be thankful even though the lid did not stay on the feeling jar until it was time for it to open. Also, for the pain that I will not allow it to turn in bitterness.

    • Shellye September 8, 2013 at 5:07 pm

Dear Lord, I bring my sister, Wendy, before You. Lord, You do your best work in the midst of our storms. Please give Wendy peace to know that You are in control at this time and that while there may be some pain and some bumps in the road, You are working everything out for her good. Lord, while You are preparing the path for her, please give her the strength to endure. When she gets weary, Lord, send a word to refresh her and renew her mind and her heart even though the circumstances may seem bleak. Lord, protect her heart, her mind, her body, and her spirit as you develop her for the purpose and possibilities You have for her in this season of her life. Please do not allow any bitterness to take root in her heart. Please help her to nurture and cultivate the fruits of the spirit in her daily walk to carry her through each day. Lord, You know all things. You know the desires of our sister’s heart. You know her destiny and just like Joseph, what others meant for evil, You mean them for good. So, please help her to remember Romans 8:28 – the good, the bad, the ugly, they ALL work together for her good because she has been called according to Your purpose. Help her to write a scripture on her heart to remind her that You answer ALL prayers in Your time and in Your way for Your will. Help her to prepare her heart for Your answer to her prayers, Lord, whatever Your will may be in her situation. You are sovereign God and You can do what You want to, when You want to, and how You want to for the betterment of our lives. So, please help my sister, Wendy, to be reassured that You will never leave her or forsake her. Give her peace that passes all understanding so that she can surrender all to You. I pray, ask, and thank You always in advance for I know You will answer. In your son, Jesus’ precious and Holy name. Amen! #KWTeam

    • Kyaunnee Richardson September 8, 2013 at 5:16 pm

“My friends, be glad, even if you have a lot of trouble. You know you learn to endure by having your faith tested. But you must learn to endure everything, so you will be completely mature and not lacking in anything.” James 1:2-4
I lift up Wendy this evening to you. You sit high and you look low. I ask that you be with her in this storm she is navigating through. I pray that You would give her hope. Let her remember this verse and that You will never leave her nor forsake her. She will come through this strong and blessed. All that you see that she stands in the need of, grant it unto her, in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

  81. Kyaunnee Richardson September 8, 2013 at 5:26 pm

I am truly humbled and blessed to be around so many godly women.

My prayer request is to stay focus and finish strong in my last year as a graduate student. There have been a few challenges that have arose since my first two weeks and I would put them as an unspoken request.

    • K.Roy September 8, 2013 at 5:53 pm

      Hello My Love,

We are slightly in e same boat. I’m in my last semester of undergrad and prayerfully will start an accelerated Master/Doctoral Psych Program in 2015. So, I so understand the pressure of school.

….Heavenly Father , I thank you for my sweet sister Kya! May you keep her mind focused on whatever task that’s set before her. Help Kya to budget her time wisely. Give her favor with her professors and such. Most importantly that she doesn’t forget to keep you on the throne of her heart because God you are her peace, provider, confidence, companion and friend. And as far as the unspoken request…you know all and see all. May your will be done in that request. If it’s an answer , deliverance or guidance…do it lord according to your will.

      In Jesus Name,

      • Kyaunnee Richardson September 8, 2013 at 7:54 pm

        Thank you K.Roy!
I will be praying the same for you. For strength, favor and great success. For God to bless you tremendously and for you to praise Him for all that He has done. To keep your focus and finish strong!
        In Jesus’ name, amen.

  82. Rose Charles September 8, 2013 at 6:08 pm

When we’re in a storm sometimes what we do is to look for a way out or the time for it to be over, it’s hard to even stay focused on prioritizing I find it very helpful to keep one song and one bible verse or even one word of encouragement with me throughout the week everyday over and over those words I would repeat, sing or listen to, to be reminded that God wants the best for me even if it doesn’t look like it for that period of time because I’m His. “I know that you are for me” also “love came down and recue me “by Kari Jobe I’ve been singing these song in the storm.. My husband, the bread winner, has been out of job since January and we have four children ages 8, 6, 5,and 2 I’ve been a stay home mom since we started having them. Sometimes I feel like we’re left alone like sheep without a shepherd to make it on our own because It’s hard not sure what to do but through it all God Has been faithful, He is faithful. So, please pray for us that we are exactly where he wants us to be in obedience to His word and His will and that we be ready to receive what he has for us.
And Father, at this moment I lift up Wendy Garner to you, you know the end of her situation before it even started and you allowed it knowing that your plan for her is to prosper, to have a hope and a future. Please help her to remember Lord that her life, and any situation she finds herself in if she anchors in you, fit perfectly in your master plan for her own benefit and for your own glory even when we don’t understand. I pray that any kind of pain will in turn help her to be closer to you than ever before O Lord to know that she’s worth dying for and that instead of bitterness she will be a testimony/witness and a source of comfort to others that will go through her similar situation. I Ask These things in Jesus precious name. Amen

    • K.Roy September 8, 2013 at 6:47 pm

      Hello Gods Beloved,

I’m encouraged by your strength. I pray for you and your husband to continue to date and love on one another during this storm and that you would seek shelter in each other as God charts your course. Even if your date night is at the kitchen table once the little ones are tucked away . Speaking each others love language over a bowl of ice cream by candle light. Now, I know your thinking were is she going with this prayer but I want you to know that kids aren’t aware of what going on just the stress of the two of you from time to time. You must remain a united front because the devil would love to wreck havoc in the home as well.

I do pray that God will open the windows of heaven And pour out a financial blessing upon your household. I pray that you find ways to create wealth by the skills set you both have. And until the manifestation happens may you all find yourself resting in gods peace that blows your senses and defy logic.

      Dance in the rain,

First of all I thank you my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for life, health, and strength. I thank you Lord for the many mercies you give us on a daily basis. I pray for my sister Rose during this time of need in her life. I pray that you will give her a continuous peace that surpasses all understanding and that her husband finds work very soon. I pray that you continue to give them the spirit of obedience to you during their time, and I thank you for carrying them through this difficult time. We give you praise in advance for the blessings you are about to bestow upon them and we thank you so much. I pray for continuous growth in you and your Word, for all of the answers to the issues of life are found there and in the books written by your saints. 84. Gloria S September 8, 2013 at 7:13 pm

Please pray for my family…my husband has not had a steady job since he was let go in January of this year. He has been the bread winner for our family and now is showing signs of depression. He is in need of a steady position, but he also needs help with his drinking problem. I am disabled and have been for 18 months I am not able to handle the drinking problem and bad attitude from not working.

    • Molly September 8, 2013 at 8:35 pm

Gloria, I pray that the Lord would lead your husband to the job He has for him. There is a verse I found in Habbakuk 3:17-19

Fig trees may not grow figs, and there may be no grapes on the vines. There may be no olives growing and no food growing in the fields. There may be no sheep in the pens and no cattle in the barns.
But I will still be glad in the LORD; I will rejoice in God my Savior. The Lord God is my strength. He makes me like deer that does not stumble so I can walk on the steep mountain.

God has great plans for you and your family. I will continue lifting your situation in my prayers.

    • Tanja Duttton September 8, 2013 at 8:46 pm

Father we lift up Gloria’s family to you right now. God we know that you are the author and finisher of our faith. God we pray for your divine providential hand to move over the life of Gloria, her family, and her husband. We ask you to speak to his depression God and call out the Kingdom Man you have called him to be. Let him not give into his circumstances God, but remind him that this pit he is in right now is all a part of your process to get him to his destiny. We pray that you would open the doors of job opportunity so that he can provide for his family. We pray for Gloria’s peace and comfort. Attend to her prayer oh God for her heart is overwhelmed. Allow her to feel your hand of protection. We love you God and we thank you in advance for how you will move through the life of Gloria, her family, and husband! Amen!!!!

Pray for my daughter, Suzanne, who is married to a soldier suffering from PTSD. She is on medication for depression and seeing a counselor for help. Life in the military can be lonely with her husband off training for deployment. She knows that God is in control and she has to cry out to Jesus for support. She is living in another state, far away from family support to help with her two year old son.

I have been sharing Kingdom Woman with her and what I am learning.
I know in the end Jesus will receive the glory in their marriage.

    • Tanja Duttton September 8, 2013 at 11:19 pm

Father I stand with Molly in prayer for her daughter Suzanne and her son-in-law. God send Christian friends and church members to offer support and help Suzanne adjust to being away from her family. We lift up Suzanne’s husband, that you protect him while he is serving our country, guard his mind. Strengthen their marriage and family while he trains for deployment. Allow Suzanne to experience your presence, cause her to rest in your arms knowing that she is not alone because you are always with her. Give her peace Lord in the matchless name of Jesus we pray. Amen!

Father God, I lift up Suzanne and her family to you right now. I pray for her husband, that you would be his peace. I pray for her son, that he would be filled with an exuberant joy that would spill out on others. I pray for Suzanne, that she would be able to feel your ever-presence: that you would breathe life into her, that she would be her husband’s help, her son’s love & that she would know that she is God’s perfect gift to her family amidst even her own struggle. I ask that you would provide her with a tangible support and that you would give the doctors wisdom to provide her with the appropriate help that you have provided them with the ability to give. Most of all I pray that she would trust not only your love, but your unfailing goodness. In the precious name of Jesus and according to Your will, let it be so.

This is probably going to sound worse than I intend for it to, but I would appreciate prayer for me to be able to enjoy my children. It’s not that I don’t “enjoy” them in that I don’t love them or they get on my nerves kind of sense. I have struggled with some neurological issues for a long time. They are mild enough to not be a priority to a lot of doctors (which of course I am thankful that they aren’t super threatening), they are vague enough to prevent finding clear answers or solutions, but they troublesome and persistent enough to really effect my functionality. Sometimes I can tell that I’m in for an impending bad phase, & sometimes it just blindsides me out of nowhere. I’m a “doer” by nature, so being still and having to often depend on others is something that has been difficult for me to learn. I feel guilty that my kids have had to be ok with entertaining themselves while I lay down behind closed doors, or that I don’t play with them enough because when I am in a “good” phase I need to be able to take advantage of getting things accomplished while it lasts, or that when I make an effort to just be with them I’m often not mentally “there” and I can’t enjoy it or put my all into it because I feel so rough. I so much want to be able to output the quality of my love for them and be able to fully enjoy the process of doing so.

Father I pray for Becca. I pray that you would grant her the desires of her heart. Her desire to have a better quality of life and enjoy her children…for her children to feel her love for them. We pray that you would provide an accurate diagnosis for her neurological issues in order to bring under control the problems she has been faced with because of them. Help her to find balance and normalcy. Allow her to understand that it’s okay to leave some things undone to spend time nurturing and loving her children when she is having a good day. Allow her to have peace when receiving help from others when she is faced with a difficult day. Be her peace, her strength, and her joy God. Allow her to experience your presence on her rough days, knowing that you are with her, and you will be with her through whatever she is facing. Thank you for you grace, it’s in Jesus name we pray. Amen

I ask for prayers for trust issues I have. Due to my past I do not trust that people have good intentions for me. Therefore, when I find out I have been researched and so forth it brings fear up in me. I am not use to being around people that have good intentions for me verses bad. This has been the biggest issues in trying to surrender to God at this time in my life.

Dear God, I pray for Wendy. I thank you father that she is able to acknowledge the area in her life where she is experiencing difficulty. Father help her to understand that the people she is encountering in her life have been sent by you. Father you desire her to overcome this issue of trust in her life. Help her to trust you first in order to begin the healing process of those things which have hurt her in the past. Cause her know and believe that you are for her and desire the very best for her. We pray for her ability to surrender every area of here life over to you. We love you God and we thank you for all that you are doing in our lives. In Jesus Name.Amen

Lord as we close the comments for this week’s prayer time, I pray that each woman who offered up her concerns to you might receive a special sense of your care and concern for them this week. I pray that you will give them the ability to trust you in difficult situations and to believe that you are who you say you are and that you can do what you say you can do. Help us all to have a confident faith in you. And when we doubt, Lord, help our unbelief.
