We’ve all heard the saying “Money can’t buy happiness”, but let’s face it, if used properly, it sure can be a powerful tool. But, what does the Word of God have to say about the handling and possession of financial wealth? Can Christians be extraordinarily rich? Are believers required to use their wealth to benefit their local church and community?
In this episode,Teri Ijeoma and I are chatting about money and ministry. Sometimes, the idea of being wealthy has a negative connotation, and may even be frowned upon by others inside and outside of the church. However, Teri masters the concept of when you are faithful with little, God will bless you with much. Teri and I delve into how ministry, money, and Jesus can intertwine. Teri’s background in ministry and knowledge of the education field have helped to fuel her passion for trading. I’m talking stocks, bonds, and all the financial fun that comes along with it! Her multi-million dollar company, Trade and Travel, has proven to be wildly successful and allowed her to faithfully and diligently build the Kingdom of God. Through her passion for money, ministry, and teaching, she’s created a course to help people all over the world learn how to trade and make extra income.
Through our conversation, Teri and I also discussed and shared practically helpful tips to demonstrate how to freely communicate with others when it comes to the topic of money and wealth in ministry. Throughout this genuine conversation, there is a beautiful story that unfolds that changes your perspective on how you should view the resource of financial wealth. This episode shares how God utilized all of Teri’s giftings in order to carry out her ordained purpose. She encourages the listeners to freely live in the blessings that God gives you. Do not worry about how others may perceive you. Choosing to enjoy the blessings God gives you is one of the main takeaways from this episode.
Lastly, Teri and I speak on how to manage what God has given you well, reflecting on the importance of being a good steward of your resources.
