Podcast: Play in new window
I had the opportunity to sit down with an awesome human whom I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with. My brother Anthony suggested I have Nikki Leonti on the podcast and I’m so glad I did. Nikki is a phenomenal human and you are in for a treat. She is also a singer/songwriter who has graced the stage with the likes of the Kelly Clarksons and Carrie Underwoods of the world. This wife and mother of 3 is also an author of a book released in 2019 titled, AllThings Beautiful- 31 Devotions for Single Moms.
Nikki’s story is nothing short of amazing and is also clearly wrapped in God’s grace and love. She shares honestly about her past hurts and how she found herself in a renewed relationship with God after a difficult time being distant from him. Nikki is an example of how God can use all of our mess to make something beautiful. Like me and many of you, she has gone through alot – from family issues, church hurt ,a young failed marriage, and an abortion. The Lord has used her story and continues to use it to inspire so many women.
I am thankful that Nikki allowed me to dig deep and to ask the hard questions. She chose to be raw and transparent and I’m so grateful. Nikki is real and unapologetic about who the Lord has called her to be. I truly believe we all can find her story to be relatable. If we are honest, all of us have a story to tell.
Nikki is my people y’all! This is a true sister chat and I am here for it! My hope is that this conversation will not only encourage you but also remind you of God’s love and purpose for your life. Your past does not define you or dictate your future. There is beauty in all pain; we just have to look for it and then surrender it to God.
