When I think about the conversations we need to have as women of faith—especially conversations that shape our future and change the trajectory of our families—money has to be part of that dialogue. And that’s why I’m so grateful for the chance to introduce you to today’s guest, Ange Matthews.

I met Ange through a recommendation from my friend and former podcast guest, Teri Ijeoma. And y’all… You don’t want to miss this conversation. Her story, her clarity, her purpose, and the way she teaches about money with both conviction and compassion—it’s unique. It’s needed. And it’s dripping with wisdom that many of us simply didn’t grow up hearing.

In this episode, Ange and I talk about her journey from making $40,000 a year with six figures of debt… to becoming a multimillionaire investor before the age of 40. No inheritance. What I love most about this conversation is how practical Ange is. She doesn’t talk at you—she talks to you. She believes everyone can start investing, no matter how small the investment. She walks through how to shift from paycheck-to-paycheck thinking, and she breaks down the emotional piece of seeing yourself as someone God can trust with money.

She also shares why she invested in everything from traditional stocks… to Broadway productions… to hotel properties… to emerging medical innovations. Her entire philosophy is rooted in one powerful truth: You are allowed to build wealth that aligns with your values—and you don’t need a perfect background or a perfect start.
