How many times have you vowed not to do something anymore, only to end up in the same pattern again and you find yourself asking “why”?

Most of us have heard the saying, “Insanity is doing something over and over and expecting different results”. None of us want to look insane, and although we have good intentions, we often end up repeating the same actions and wind up stuck in a pattern that we can’t seem to escape.

Sometimes we pick up certain rhythms and routines and without even realizing it, they become second nature to us. While some of these rhythms are healthy, a lot of them aren’t.  If we’re not careful, we can find ourselves constantly falling back in the same old cycles. On today’s podcast, I’m talking about how to break toxic cycles in order to make real changes and level up in your life. I’m convinced that if you can learn unhealthy patterns, you can also unlearn them. Thinking positively and wanting to change helps, but real change requires definitive action. In other words, you have to do the work. If you’ve been feeling stuck and need some practical advice on how to change the patterns in your life, then you definitely want to tune in to this conversation.

One of the biggest things that will get in the way of you leveling up in life is that you never quite get out of the habit of circling and in turn, you spend your life in unhealthy cycles, but that doesn’t have to be your story. Life teaches us many lessons and sometimes the same cycles and patterns will keep showing up in our lives because there is a lesson to be learned that we haven’t yet figured out. You can learn so much about your patterns and cycles by simply paying attention to your life. If you learn how to recognize the cycle before it happens, and put up pillars to keep you on your path, you will have a better chance of navigating through the cycle well.

Remember, change rarely happens overnight, so I need you to remember to give yourself grace and commit to the process. Yesterday is gone, but you have control over the choices you make today.

Listen friends, today is as good a day as any to level up. If you are willing to do the work of looking at your life, and create the pillars needed to hold you accountable, you can change. Or you can get to your later and wish you’d learned the lessons when you had the chance. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you only have one life to live, and it’s your job to live it well. So what are you waiting for, girl? It’s time to level up!
