I call her the “freedom girl”! My guest today, Christine Caine, wants people to live free through the power of Christ.  She is the author of How Did I Get Here? and co-founder of The A21 Campaign and Propel Women.

Christine has an insatiable desire to learn and to grow. Having recently earned her Master’s Degree with sights on earning her DMin, her ministry remains relevant to  multiple generations. Christine admits that her primary job is to listen if she is going to serve women half her age and understand the questions their generation are asking as well as their thought processes.

Christine and I both carry a heart for mentorship and feel called to build pipelines and pathways to ensure that the message of Christ is passed onto the next generation.

We all have a  sphere of influence, whether in the home, in the community, in the local church, or in an overseas ministry.  The question is, “Are you willing to be interrupted?”  Being willing to be interrupted by God can often make you feel left out and awkward with your peers.  But the degree to which you are willing to be interrupted is the degree to which God will use you.

The Bible is ripe with the importance of generational transfer. As a seasoned saint in Joshua 14, Caleb, at the age of 85, was used by God to take out giants on the way to Hebron that only he had the spiritual weight and authority to do so.  Likewise, after 30-odd years of serving Jesus, Christine acknowledges that there are some giants that only the spiritual weight and authority given to her by God can take out in order to reach others with the message of the gospel.  The longer she serves the Lord, the greater her realization of these three things:

  1. Fear flees when you understand that spiritual life and death hang in the balance for those you have been called to reach;
  2. The cost of being anointed for God’s service means that you will be squeezed so that the oil is coming out;
  3. Your territory is enlarged not because you are marketed by man, but because you are marked by God.

Even though she may be seasoned in ministry, Christine admits that there are times and assignments that she has to ask the Lord to “help my want to.”  And, wow, can I ever relate to that!

Do you need help for your “want to“? Well then, this freedom episode of Christine Caine will definitely help you out!
