Have you been introduced to the church, but are still waiting to meet God?

Many of us were introduced to church at a very young age. We went on Sundays, participated in programs and maybe even attended Sunday school. But that’s it. We did not develop deep relationships with others at the church. And more importantly, we did not find a life-changing relationship with Christ. We found church.

Scripture tells us we are not meant to do this life alone. We were made for community. And yet many of us find it difficult to find a community where we feel we belong. And some of us may not even realize we need it. We think we are doing okay by ourselves and there is no one around us to tell us otherwise.

But deep down we have a desire.

A desire to belong.

And while the desire can only be fulfilled through Christ, it is in community with other believers that we begin to understand how to take the needed steps to let that happen.

Jennifer Lucy Tyler has a lot to say about community. She is an international speaker, Bible teacher, and founder of Soul Circles – a virtual community for women to come together and study the Bible in community.

Jennifer was first introduced to the Lord when she attended a lock-in at her mother’s church. And then she made a friend who introduced her to community, discipleship, and what it feels like to truly experience God’s life through those around you. She learned that if you can find your people, they can be “normal” and “cool” and also love Jesus. She also learned firsthand that transformation begins in community too. This was Jennifer’s experience and she wants to help other women experience it too.

Today, Jennifer is on a mission to show other women that community matters. Join Jennifer and I as we discuss how:

  • Experiencing God’s love can keep you going
  • Living in community with others changes things
  • Life-giving relationships can disciple organically

Every journey starts with just one step. It does not have to be a perfect step. It does not have to be a huge step. It simply needs to be a step. One step could open the door to a community of women who will walk alongside you, support you, and point you toward a deeper relationship with Christ.

Your community is waiting.

God is waiting.

So, what are you waiting for?

Take the step.
