Happy Tuesday Kingdom Kindreds!
Hope you are enjoying your One Month Journey thus far! I know I am!
So far, I’ve have been so blessed to hear from each of you, but more than that, to know that you girls are sharing and encouraging one another! I’ve seen you do that in the comments as we’ve introduced ourselves and prayed for each other last week. It’s gonna be so NEAT this week to share by visiting each other’s online “homes”. If you have a blog, you can link up below. Remember, attaching your personal blog to this Kingdom Woman Blog Hop is optional but lots of fun!
New to the idea of a blog hop? Here are the details!
I realize that for some of you, this will be your first time doing anything like this! Don’t be scared! It’s really easy if you will take a few minutes to get oriented to this fun connecting activity. Heather Bleier created an awesome blog hop tutorial for Proverbs 31 Online Bible Studies and you can watch her 3:00 minute tutorial to get a handle on how to include your blog post in our link up! Click HERE to view directly on YouTube or copy the following link into your browser: http://bit.ly/X8UX0u.
It is very important that you blog about one of the Blog Hop topics.
If your blog does not cover one of the specified topics, it will be removed. I don’t want to be mean but things could get really crazy super fast, if anyone can post about anything. We are doing a journey together right? So let’s make sure we are sharing common themes that fit the purpose of our time together!
Alrighty then!
I’m looking forward to reading your blog! If you have a question, please contact me. I’m really just a “wanna-be-geek” but I will do my best to help you figure it out 🙂 Lastly, if you post a link to your blog here, make sure to grab the “I’m a Kingdom Woman” button (right column) for your own blog!
So, let’s get started!!!!
Here are this week’s topics: {The names in BOLD are suggested titles.}
NOTE: Please specify which topic you chose by either using the suggested title OR adding the Topic # somewhere in your post.
- Personal Control vs. Surrender – On page 8 Tony Evans states, “We lack the direction to truly live out our [kingdom] destinies.” And on page 9 he wrote, “Many women today still struggle with turning over personal control in their lives, thus opening themselves up to heartache, loss, and chaos.” In what ways do you struggle to turn over personal control of your life to God?
- Confidence and Purpose – Eleanor Roosevelt said, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” Do you struggle with feelings of insecurity or inferiority? Why? How has the introduction helped you to have a greater sense of confidence as a Kingdom woman? What is one goal you can set today that will help you fulfill your purpose as a kingdom woman?
- Psalm 139 – This week we’ve been reading Psalm 139. Share what you have gleaned from this passage. What has God taught you? What can you start doing differently as a result of your study? Remember! Babysteps… one step at a time 🙂
- Gifts, Influence, & Impact – In what ways do see yourself as “naturally gifted to influence and impact” your world (page 4)? How are you using your gifts to do just that? Remember! Your “gifts can be used anywhere and be for the glory of God!… home, work, church, neighborhood, etc.
You have until Friday at midnight to add your blog to our hop!
Next week’s blog topics will be in Monday’s post.
Can’t wait to read your blogs, but remember, you must blog about one of the Blog Hop topics. If your blog does cover the specified topics, it will be removed. Blog Hops are fun! And they are especially fun and beneficial if they cover topics that are common to our study! And if you post a blog here, make sure to grab the “I’m a Kingdom Woman” button (right column) for your own blog!

Super excited to do the Blog Hop for the first time. Looking forward to sharing my blog with you all and reading your blogs for inspiration. What a wonderful idea!
First time blog hopping…….can’t wait to continue. The topics are great and love reading other people’s story/blog.
[…] this one out of the recesses for the Kingdom Woman blog hop […]
Well I tried setting up a blog for me. I am not sure if it went in with the Kingdom Woman blog hop the right way. Let me know if I need to change something.
I don’t have a blog, never had one. what can I do then?
Hi Mercedes, it’s really easy. The site I use is blogger.com, but there are others. You type that into your browser and click the red Sign Up button in the upper right hand corner. If you have a gmail account, you can Sign In instead. To sign up, there will be a number of data fields to fill out, like First Name, Last Name, etc. Then you agree to the terms by checking the box at the bottom and click Next Step. Follow the steps and before you know it, you will have a blog. The Proverbs 31 video that Chrystal provided is really helpful to learn how to post your blog to the Blog Hop (which ends shortly for this week, but there’s always the next one). Happy Blogging! Hope you do it. It would be great to read it. No pressure though 🙂
O, if you have more questions Mercedes, feel free to ask. Have a great weekend!
I have never done a blog hop! Can’t wait to read them all!
Hey ladies,
First time actually sitting down and able to get on the computer today….. I have no idea how to do this BLOG HOP! Help please… I would love to share but I’m lost! I don’t have a blog but wouldn’t mind creating one. I went to the tutorial and still just lost as ever!
Hi Stephanie,
I have had a blog for a couple of years and never use it. So, this inspired me to start it back up. I have very low computer skills so it is a big challenge . I simply Googled “how to start a blog” and there are lots of links that walk you through it. There are templates and free sites all over the internet and if you know how to copy and paste you’re pretty well on your way.
If I can help you, maybe via email or something, just let me know. I could even post a link here maybe incase others are interested..
You can do it!
I believe I have “gotten started” — may have to wait until in the morning to get it up and running! Thank you for your advice! I will get it one way or the other!!!! Had a temporary blond moment.
I don’t have a blog either! BOOOO! lol
Woohoo! I’m a first time blog hopper. 🙂
This is so fun, I’m reading everyone’s blogs right now before bed and I love it. Thank you all for contributing. I don’t have sisters and just a few girlfriends so it’s nice to read what all you ladies are sharing. Thanks again, Chrystal for this One Month Journey. I am having a blast!
You’re welcome Raquel. I know what you mean. I’m having a blast too! Thank you for your blog…it was nice to read Psalm 139 from the NLT. I read yours after I posted mine and thought, that’s a great idea! I have a sister and a heart for those who don’t. My best friend in college had all brothers. You guys have a unique and special way of caring for your friends. It’s great.
Just posted mine up! So awesome being able to read everyone’s insight on these topics! yay!

Just added my blog….it wasn’t too hard.
Hi Kimberly, you’re right. Adding the blog turned out to be a lot simpler than I expected. Yours stood out to me because of it’s simplicity. Very nice!
This is so cool! Just added my blog and looking forward to reading others. Have a GREAT day all!
Hi Shelley, I just read your blog and learned that you are a “pregnant” writer like me. Sometimes I feel like I’ve got triplets inside of me and can’t wait for them to come out. Not so much because of discomfort that I see so many woman who have a-c-t-u-a-l-l-y been pregnant experience, but because I want to meet them. I have a name, I mean title, for one already. I’ll pray for you if you’ll pray for me.
I’ll be praying for you anyway 🙂
