Podcast: Play in new window
Starting your own business can be a scary! There are so many questions and the number of answers you might find on a Google search of “how to start my own business” is overwhelming. But if you still have that dream in your heart, than that desire deserves a chance to flourish. Do you have questions on how to start creating or building your business? Well, this week’s episode is going to give you some serious practical help!
The ever-energetic and refreshingly-real Nicole Walters joins the show to share her expertise in entrepreneurship. She puts a unique spin on the term “Girl Boss.” After quitting her corporate job, with 10,000 Periscope viewers watching, Nicole launched her own business empowering others to pursue their dreams. As a wife, mother of three, and wildly successful business woman, Nicole has a full plate, but she passionately shares her knowledge with others to help them break through mental barriers that hinder their progress!
Launching into entrepreneurship means knowing your product’s and your personal worth. But it’s hard to believe in that worth. We allow fear, anxiety, or our imposter syndrome to get in the way of fully embracing the gifts we have been given to bless and benefit others. If a passion burns inside of you, then it should do more than keep you up at night. Nicole offers a transparent, candid and hilarious view of what it takes to make our dreams come to life and to make the seemingly impossible happen!
Join Nicole and I as we have a lively conversation about life, business, weight loss and everything in between!

Hey Chrystal,
I just discovered Nicole a few weeks ago myself so as soon as I saw the podcast this morning, I was stoked to learn more about her! And learn we did. She’s texting Oprah and I’m texting Nicole. The Girl Boss chats have all been great and I’m thankful for this series as I’m an entrepreneur and also a wife and mom of three so it’s been cool to hear their stories, to know that many of our joys and fears are the same and that God has given me this gift to share and I must continue on no matter how scary it looks or feels and doggone it, I can ask for money and not feel bad about it!
To answer the questions, at the moment, I don’t think I’m not pursuing anything in life I’m not passionate about. Well maybe except that getaway time Nicole talked about which I could really use right now mid-summer break! But being in business for myself has afforded me the opportunity to dabble into things that I thought I would love and didn’t. And to find new things I didn’t know I would like and have a deep passion to help other people with it. My biggest goal right now is to focus on the things I know I’m supposed to be doing in this season and like Crystal Stine said I believe, be okay with being multi-purposeful and not put God into a box with just ONE thing for my life!
Thanks again for following this passion of sharing your friends with the world! It makes my morning runs go alot better and gives me lots of fodder to chew on! Blessings!
Morning! Chrystal I thank God for you everyday. I really enjoyed the girl boss Series it really encouraged me. This was an Eye-opener. May God continue to bless you and your family.
This podcast was so liberating! Something about listening to Nicole embrace unashamedly who she is and what God has called her to do! I often get shy/ashamed of all the potential I can be because somewhere somehow I allowed cultures opinions of me to be louder than God’s words for me. But you both reminded me through your conversation to keep seeking to be the best version of who I am so that I can be highly functional in this world! I truly believe that since God we have a relationship with God, he is the x-factor we need to be successful in this world & as Christians, we should be influencers and leaders in this world and so I applaud you for doing this series, Chrystal, and Nicole for being a serious girl boss and an example to us all!
Really enjoyed this life-changing podcast 🙂
Thanks for listening Michelle!
