Podcast: Play in new window
Who doesn’t like comfort?
Whether it’s a person, place, thing, or idea we tend to like that with which we are familiar.
But God doesn’t put us here to be comfortable. He is constantly seeking to stretch us and bring us to a new place in Him – experiencing both the depths of His love and the heights of His power at work in us.
So how exactly do we move from our familiar places when it is not always comfortable to do so?
Today’s podcast shares a few tips and guiding principles that have worked… and are still working for me.
Sometimes you may feel God is hard on you & doesn’t love you.
Truth is… He loves you to much to leave you the way you are. – Unknown

Hello Chrystal,
For some reason when I try to listen to Podcast #24, Podcast #22 is coming up. Just wanted to let you know.
By the way, these bless me so much!! 🙂
Thank you for letting me know! It’s all fixed! Hope it encourages you 🙂
Awesome and encouraging! Yes, you stepped on my toes..lol. I’m determined to step out of my comfort zone- WOW you touched on many areas that I needed. Because of your encouraging podcasts, I’m preparing to run my first half marathon. Your honesty and openness on faith, family, and relationships is rare and has truly helped me, and to help others. Love it!
Thank you Chrystal.
I say this often when God shows up ” sometimes there just aren’t words.” I thank you for REACHING outside of your comfort zone and doing this podcast. I was feeling stuck… unsure of what to do next. Now I know to just reach for God. He has the plan and will lead me in the direction I should go.
This podcast was amazing! Such a blessing to me. God used it to speak directly about a situation I’ve been struggling with. Thank you!!!!
Its funny because I complain about being “too comfortable”. I want a change, something new is what I tell myself. When God offers me something challenging or out of my comfort zone, I find excuses to run away (fear plays a huge part). Let’s hope this trend will end. 🙂 I don’t know where God wants me to go or at least I believe I don’t.One the time comes, I’m going to go with the flow or relax into his plan. Don’t run away from the lazy river.
