You are always in a hurry.
Always on to the next thing.
Getting to the next place.
Jumping from one task to another.
I don’t work like that.
I like to take My time.
Even when you don’t see me busy at work,
I’m always up to something.
I see the whole world in one glance.
Yet I see each person and their unique situation totally and clearly.
I see you…
And I know what you need.
I know what you desire.
The question is… will you wait?
Will you wait on Me to give you the longings of your heart in my timing?
Delight in Me. I can give you desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
Will you wait on Me to satisfy that for which you thirst?
…whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. John 6:35
Will you wait on Me to fight your battle for you in a way that guarantees you victory?
Wait on Me.
Slow down.
Leave margin.
Make room.
Create space in your life for Me to do what I do best…
I make things beautiful with time.
He has made everything beautiful in its time… Ecclesiastes 3:11
Oh! I don’t expect you to sit there twiddling your thumbs…
I want you to be busy doing whatever I told you to do last.
I want you to use your holding period as a time to sit at My feet.
I want you to spend this phase of what feels like a delay … with ME.
Most of my children have more to say to Me during their time of waiting than at any other time.
And I want to hear all of it.
Come My love.
Let’s have a little chat.
Are you frustrated?
Tell Me. I can handle your honesty.
Are you hurt?
Tell Me. I am really good at giving comfort.
Are you angry… with Me?
Tell Me. I can handle it.
Are you feeling desolate, despondent, or even depressed?
Let the tears fall at My feet. I am near to the brokenhearted.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
Spend time with me.
Pour out your heart.
Then wait.
Wait for Me to respond.
Most people don’t hear My voice because they give just enough time to our meeting to say everything they need to say…
Then they rush off.
Without giving Me an opportunity to answer.
Wait for Me.
Wait on Me.
Hope in Me.
Believe that I have a plan. I always have a plan.
Trust that I am unshakeable and unmovable – the same yesterday, today, and forever.
I have been, I AM, and I will always be good.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
And I always have a plan.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
I know what I’m doing and when is the best time to get it done.
Don’t let other people rush you.
Just because everyone else is going eighty miles an hour doesn’t mean you have to too.
You don’t have to live like that.
Don’t rush.
Don’t be in such a hurry.
Have patience.
Wait on Me.
Notes from my Morning Meeting with Jesus – June 25th
Wow!! I know this is straight from the Lord to me today. I just had a conversation about feeling distant from God this morning. I said, “I realize I have a lot going on and I am really hurting right now so I am not sure it that is why I have distanced myself from Him. It is like I am mad with God or something.” and then I read this blog. Thank you for being so transparent today. I need to take time and tell God what I am feeling. It’s not like He doesn’t already know. Thanks again. This really blessed me.
Yes… He already knows 🙂
MMMMMM….I am in the place of the latter part of your words. I am feeling down, despondent. I am struggling with being a partial empty nestor and a back and forth college homecomer(during breaks) and two teen daughters at home. As a mom of 5, thats all ive ever known and its a struggle to find clarity as things are changing….I am praying daily an dlistening to Gods voice and the anxiety is less and less each day……………this wird was so on time…..I will sit even longer before Him in His peace. Thank you foryour transparent heart.
I’m in that season too. Hang in there 🙂
Marsha, I’m in the same season of Life As You Are. I have a daughter that’s a freshman in college and a daughter that is a junior in high school.
Dear Chrystal,
Thank you so much for those wonderful words. I really needed them this morning.
I did too!
Every single scripture posted on this entry today spoke volumes to me. I placed them all in my personal journal as reminders. Thank you God and thanks Chrystal!
I’m so grateful for your blog and others like it. Your messages and the responses from other ladies let me know that I’m not the only one going through whatever it is I’m going through at a given moment. Thank you for sharing.
What other blogs do you read Ursula?
Chrystal does it again! Thank you for this word! I’m in that “waiting” period and at times I want to lose it! Thank you for reminding me that this is my time with Him; and that in His timing all will be made perfect! 🙂
These things need a LIKE button 🙂

“Share” will work! 🙂
Thank you for being available. when I first started reading this blog, I just wanted to skim through because it seemed like a lot. But certain words stuck out: WAIT, PLAN, WAIT FOR ME.. so even in my busyness, he is still waiting, patiently I might add… And this confirms that I must wait.. Thank you for this WONDERFUL life application.
Great words of encorangement. I am currently in the stage of walking around silent. I know he is listening to all that I am saying and not saying. I thank the Lord for His patience with me his daughter. Wait on the Lord….. yes, I will wait on Him. He is my provider and I thank him for wonderful sisters (like you) sharing their biblical truth to strengthen their sisters. May God richly bless you in all that you do.
This hit me at the right time… As I am waiting on the Lord for this healing of great measure after the loss of my daughter. Loosing her at 28 weeks gestation was the most challenging experience in my life. Trusting and waiting on God to bless us with more healthy children is my current season… This spoke straight to me thank you.
Powerful Truth! Thanks for sharing God’s word!!!
Thank you Chrystal! This was such a blessing and gave me such peace, I can’t stop reading it. This spoke directly to the place I’m in and released so much anxiety I was carrying. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for sharing and letting us in on your “Morning meetings with Jesus!”
This was my favorite line…
“I want you to use your holding period as a time to sit at My feet. I want you to spend this phase of what feels like a delay … with ME.”
Thank you for this encouraging word! We’ve been waiting 2+ to bring our daughter home from Haiti. Although it has been a long road, the LORD has taught me so much in the waiting and constantly reminds me to trust and be still. Bless you!
I’m a couple of days behind in reading this. However, I am so glad that I have. My heart alarms are going off right now, due to a number of issues that I am facing. Reading this gives me comfort and has caused me to lift my head. Thank you.
Aloha Chrystal! You just don’t know how this blog is speaking to me today. Thank you for being obedient to Him. Thank you for sharing! Praising God for His love and just the way He confirms His Word. Ho’opomaika’i (hawaiian)=Blessings!
Wow, wow, wow. I just asked God, Lord, what is it, that I can do for you today, what direction do you want me to take, and whom do you want me to bless? Mrs. Chrystal, you are a phenomenon woman, thank you so much for your words of encouragement. I am so grateful to know you spiritual and hope one day I can meet you in person. You continue to do what God has put in you and I am very sure, God is going to blow your mind. You wouldn’t believe how many people would not share what they know to help others overcome, be blessed, live hopefully, and the list goes on. But you, you are putting it out there for us, knowing that the girl is still there, like it was in you. How can I ever thank you? Again, thank you very much. You are sitting my soul on fire. Every night I go to bed, I am anticipated about the next day.
