Podcast: Play in new window
I hope that your holidays thus far have been met with lots of happiness, togetherness and cheer. But I would be amiss to think that everyone’s holiday has only been filled with happiness.
For those of us that are grieving the loss of a loved one, the holidays come with a different kind of feeling. There is sadness. There is emptiness. There is pain.
Today I talk with my aunt, Elizabeth Cannings. She was the primary caregiver for my grandmother, who passed a little over a year ago.
We talk about the reality of loss, coping with loss and making it through, not just the holidays, but everyday, when you are walking through a season of grief.
I hope today’s podcast encourages you if you are grieving and I hope if you know someone that is grieving that you pass this along.
Let’s Talk!
- Are you or someone you know grieving?
