Podcast: Play in new window
I’m a firm believer that God places desires within us.
Give a small girl a play baby doll and you will see her natural desire to mother. Sit and talk with a woman battling infertility and you will hear in her voice and you will see in her eyes the burden of barrenness.
Today, I’m talking with Mira Rollins. Mira has had a desire to adopt since she was a young girl. Listening to her testimony, it was clear that the desire to adopt was given to her by God.
Let’s Talk!
- Do you or someone you know battling infertility?
- What are some practical and creative ways to encourage adoptive and foster parents?
- Have a question you’d like for me to answer on a future podcast? Share your question with me HERE.
Highlights for Today’s Episode:

Wow wow wow!!! What a GREAT podcast. Like Mira, I too have POF and what a terrible diagnosis it is AND we can still survive the pain and live and happy and fulfilled life. Thank you Chrystal and Mira for discussing something that often goes so undiscussed in churches. This has been a blessing to me in so many ways as my husband and I are planning our next steps through 7 years of primary infertility with POF. Thank you thank you thank you!! I did some blogging about my story but subsequently stopped as the years went by but my blog title was Barren but not broken. I think that really is the goal: to not be broken by our barrenness.
Thanks for listening! Praying for you as you continue on your journey 🙂
Thank you so very much for sharing. I have wondered for so long if I was the only one who liked Jesus more than God the father. I am learning to accept His goodness and His Godness. I am learning to yield to and love being fathered.
