Podcast: Play in new window
I struggle with consistency.
It doesn’t matter if I’m talking about working out, waking up in the morning, or studying my Bible. Consistency and discipline are a lifelong pursuit for me as I desire to live an intentional life with as little regret as possible.
Many of you have told me that you struggle with consistency or discipline too. Maybe you struggle with sticking to your goals, staying on your eating plan, or steering clear of negativity. Maybe you desire to pray more regularly, pursue a dream, or press through a difficult season with grace. Or maybe… you simply desire to break a bad habit.
Well, on today’s podcast I want to encourage you with practical tips for being a women who doesn’t quit… a woman who finishes what she starts and lives out her divine assignments.
On today’s podcast I’m chatting with Nicki Koziarz. Nicki is a wife, mom of 3, writer and speaker for Proverbs 31, and the author of 5 Habits of A Woman Who Doesn’t Quit. Sharing from her own struggle, Nicki shares why she wrote her book and what she has done practically to work at finish well.
For Nicki, the determination to finish well partially came with the realization that life is hard. And when we accept that life is hard and understand that it is in the hard places God is refining us in order to develop our character, then we can look at our situation differently.
I’m sure on some level, we can all relate to Nicki. I encourage you to imagine, as you listen to this podcast, what this world would look like if you and I decided we weren’t going to give up on the assignment God has given us.

Today’s Podcast was right on time. I listened while I was walking on the treadmill. It was a great way for me to focus on something, other than exercise. I’m so encouraged about being consistent and not quitting. I think today’s podcast just really opened my eyes to the fact that it’s okay to mess up and start again. More importantly I am inspired to seek God when I feel like quitting. (Your podcast might be the answer to my exercise consistency and my desire to be in the Word more!) Thanks!
Glad you listened in… and… I need to get back on the treadmill…
This podcast today…..gurl……it was so great! When you said that when things are going wrong and you want to have a tantrum….I soooo feel that way! Lol!! So many great points and it is nice to know other people struggle with perseverance. I beat myself up a little about it. I am definitely going to listen again! Great podcast!
Hi Crystal., when I saw your blog titled ” do you struggle with consistency?”. I said yep, that’s me, I never finish what I start.I thought I was the only one in the body of Christ that did, what a lie.The Lord spoke these words me as a read the title of your blog again, and He said that He who has begun a good work in me shall complete it.What He has started He Will finish, and He stressed the word He Will, not me in my own flesh, my own strength but Him alone.Thank you Jesus Christ, that we who are His no longer have to worry about what we haven’t finished or done right, or even what we haven’t done.It is already been done, it is Finished. HALLELUJAH! !!!
