Podcast: Play in new window
Today I am having a fun and casual conversation with my cousin Wynter Pitts. Wynter is the editor and founder of For Girls Like You Magazine, a ministry to girls (age 6-11) and their parents.
We have been trying, for the longest to sit down and chat, and we finally made the time to do it!
As I listen, I hope that you laugh. But I also hope that something that is said is helpful. I enjoyed this conversation and I believe you will too.
And remember, this is only part 1 of 2 parts of my conversation with Wynter. So if you enjoy this one, make sure you tune back in next week for part 2!
Let’s Talk!
- What exposure has helped you develop into the person you are today?
- What creative ways do you use to make time with your children?
- Have a question you’d like for me to answer on a future podcast? Share your question with me HERE.
Highlights for Today’s Episode:
- How exposure influenced Wynter’s life.
- The importance of having dates with your kids.
- What Chrystal has learned over the year about parenting.

If you’re new to podcasts, think of them like little radio shows that you can listen to at your convenience. They are perfect to listen to and learn from as you workout, fold laundry, wash dishes or conquer the world.
1. Listen right here on the blog. Click the little play button at the beginning of this post.
2. Listen on iTunes or Stitcher! – Be sure and subscribe so you don’t miss an episode!
3. Share today’s show – I could use your help with getting the word out there about my new podcast. Would you take a minute to share today’s post? Email the link to a friend or share on social media. Just click on the sharing buttons at the bottom of this post. Thanks!
Can I ask you a favor? However you found me, will you be so kind as to leave a rating on iTunes and/or write a 2-3 sentence review there or on Stitcher? Your commentary or rating helps make the podcast more “findable” by others who might not know it exists! Thanks in advance for your help!
Thanks again for sharing, as always. I was going to wait until the next one to reply, but my wife and I have been discussing some of these same things, and like the young man in Job’s writings, I’m compelled by necessity. So far my main gleanings for your broadcast are, 1) Be clear about what you say yes to, and 2) Family is not only full time, it’s forever. It’s OK. I know you and your cousin didn’t say that directly, but that is part of what I heard. Anyway, I’m grateful that someone is authentically discussing these things, something men seem to exhibit difficulty doing. Blessings…
Thanks for listening Scott! Love your take aways 🙂
Wow. I needed this. I’m 46 with a 22 year old a 6 year old and a 2 month old grandbaby all girls
You are so right. The oldest child I worried about everything school clothes church everything. Now I’m a little better but the world is crazier. The best thing now is that my faith is stronger. I lean on the Lord more, he gives me more wisdom and peace now.
