Podcast: Play in new window
Okay.
So we know that we should love God but what does it mean exactly to love Him well?
What does it mean to love Him with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength?
Truth be told, we can grow accustomed to God. We can get used to Him and if we are not careful, we might even find ourselves growing a bit bored.
Just like any relationship, every now and again, you just need to take a step back, assess if you are giving that relationship the priority it deserves, and make the adjustments necessary to set that relationship up for success.
The goal is not to have a functional relationship. The goal is to have a flourishing relationship with God.
Join me today as I reflect on what it looks like to love God.

How to Listen to The Podcast
Thank you so much for this podcast. It’s timely, because I have thought about all the ways I reflect God’s love in me. We all have love languages imprinted upon our hearts by God; my love language is writing. This was a great reminder that I need to use my love language to continue to show my undying love to God.
Thank you. God bless you!!
Thank you Chrystal!
I really enjoyed this message, I listened to it twice! A third time coming later lol. It’s a good season in my young married life and now that I’ve graduated from college and my husband and I work full time, there’s down time for me. My down time has made me lazy in the way I express my love for God and with my desires to stay consistence. I have many things to reflect on, so thank you for sharing and God bless!
Hello Mrs, Chrystal Evans Hurst,
God Bless you, and thank you for this message. I pray that I will surrender and stay committed to God and trusting and having Faith that will kieep me close to him and him closer to me. Wow, what a mighty good God we serve. This is confirmation. Thank you Jesus. I am taking a step back, assessing things over in various relationships. Mainly the one I have with God. After coming off a 40 day fast things just start going crazy. I wonder if I were being tested. I feel like I am in a Spiritual battle, and there is lots of opposition. But I also know that can be a good thing , If God is doing something with you lifting you up that others may not understand. It can seem as if you know who knows the plans God has for you and trying to keep you from getting them. But I know what is for me is for me, and no one can change that, they may just do things that may cause me to do things or alter the timeframe that God’s plan Is for me. I am truly giving this relationship the priority it deserves, putting him first, and last night I started reading Psalm first 10 chapters then spent time in prayer with God. I have not been in the word as I should and sometimes rush through prayer. I now must make the adjustments necessary to set that relationship up for success. He will guide and direct me in all others. I thank you for this on today 4/28/15. He always guides us to where he wants us to go, we just have to learn to be obedient and follow. This was a message stooped down straight from Heaven. You have a voice that’s of an Angel. God bless you and keep listening for what it is that God has for you and I will gladly be one on your list to listen. You always bring it as it is and very pleasing to the ears listening or the eyes reading. I’m just so full right now and all I can say is GLORY. What an awesome inspiration to be still and know that God is God all by himself, and no matter what he has our backs and will fulfill all our needs if we just wait on him and do and live according to his will and his word. God bless you, your Dad, and your family. Mr Evans and yourself have truly been a Blessing. I appreciate you both. To God be all the Glory. I will keep you, your dad and family lifted up in my prayers. Have a Wonderful, Good Godly blessed rest of the day. And thank you for trusting in the Lord and being one of his faithful disciples. God Bless us all and AMERICA…..
Praise his Holy name
Lo Lam
