Podcast: Play in new window
In case you didn’t get the memo, my blog was hacked a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t write or podcast last week as a result.
I’ve missed ya’ll!
But the hacking experience taught me something… as did the ten-mile run I went on yesterday.
Being PREPARED matters.
We can have the best of intentions but our preparation, or lack thereof, can make or break the life that we get to experience.
So many of us go through life on a whim.
We tackle things as they come up. Deal with problems as they arise. Wrestle with circumstances as we run into them.
There is a better way.
Don’t ask me how I know.

2. Listen on iTunes or Stitcher! – Be sure and subscribe so you don’t miss an episode!

Can I ask you a favor? However you found me, will you be so kind as to leave a rating on iTunes and/or write a 2-3 sentence review there or on Stitcher? Your commentary or rating helps make the podcast more “findable” by others who might not know it exists! Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi Chrystal, I struggle in preparing for this new season in my life. I had to relocate for school, work and church. It was very difficult to let go of some good friends. So today’s podcast encouraged me to keep moving and keep my eyes open for God’s provision. I visited a nursing home on Sunday and an elderly lady asked to lean on my shoulder because she needed a friend. “A friend..ummmm” I so love God sense of humor…and it just tickled my soul! Thanks for another great podcast. Looking forward to hearing more!!!!
As I was leaving work yesterday instead of the radio, I played the podcast….I absolutely loved it. I am a prepper and perfectionist and I plan everything….The problem I have had lately is that half of my children are grown and the oter half are still in high school and it seems like the team is dwindling. My husband works away fromhome four days a week and four days off. It seems like lately I just cant get in a rhythm. WHen the kids were small it was simpler becasue I was still in charge of schedules and planning. Now it seems like i’m planning for everyone but mysel. I need to get my brain and body in alignment. Ineed toschedule time to workout and plan my meals, not family meal planning butmy lunch meals. I seem to always put me onthe back burner and like you said I begin to get frustrate hen things seem unplanned. I tend to eat bad stuff for unch becasue I was so busy getting everything else and everyone else ready. With school going back for my daughters I am going to commit that quiet time waiting for them in the late afternoons to doing for me, planning my meals and excercising and finishing my masters degree myself which starts in October….thank you for this it was a huge nudge in the right direction….and I will stay hydrated….lol
You know I’m a perfectionist too. But we can do better 🙂

You went on a 10-mile run?!!! Yesterday? I can see how the lessons are relevant. I’m a runner and I haven’t done a 10mile run in a while. So I’m impressed by your feat.
Blessings to you.
